Glad the sun came out. How was traffic afterwards? Were there a lot of people staying for the concert?

Heh - that's a whole other story...  I'd asked "my guy" at the Os whether we could leave the car in the lot as usual and go to dinner.  He said we needed to leave pronto so they could park for the concert.  So we tried to do that.  However, after sitting in the car for about 20 minutes and moving about 2 feet, we re-parked and went to dinner.  As we were walking back to the car, we passed the looooong line of cars still waiting to get in to the lots - and hour and 20 minutes after the show started.

I'd feel bad about leaving the car so no one else could park, except the lot we were in was practically empty when we got back and there weren't any cars waiting to park.  So we left, avoided the most heavily trafficked streets, and were home in 45 minutes.  And had a fabulous dinner!

I hope you guys are right on Texas but I don’t agree.  I fear Tampa the most so we likely get them but the Orioles at least will have a rested staff.  Is it best of three or 5 ???  Trying to find out.

This series is best of 3.  Division series is best of 5.  Then the next 2 are best of 7.

Yes indeed.  Brooks my all time favorite.  Happy you have tickets.  Debbie says Hi.  We are so happy the Orioles won East!  I think Bradish and Grayson Rodriguez first two and then either Means or Kremer.  I want Means but if we get to 7 game series we will need them all, Gibson too maybe as I just learned from Jim Palmer on twitted feed that Bautista is done for season.  ACL surgery.  Let’s hope for the best.

    Hi Debbie!!

It's too bad about Bautista.  The bullpen has stepped up, though, so here's hoping they really step up next month!  The team just signed him to a 2 year extension so when he comes back in 2025, he's still with us - just like they did with Means and that seems to be working out well.

Hope you're getting them on the Fox feed tonight...although I wouldn't mind watching the Mariners game.

You and Debbie should come back next season for a game and dinner!

Hi Esther.  Congrats on the division title for us both!!  Was nice to see Cal in the seats.  I have watched every game for over two months as I bought the MLB package.  Big crowds.  I thought the dedication to Palmer was Saturday as its sold out but it was last night.  Lets hope for the best.  A local sports writer who  has me on his Facebook, and has lots of connections in the sports world has praise the young Orioles but thinks that they may not have the experience to get to the Series.  I believe they can.  We shall see.  So do you know if its best of 5 or 7 first series?  I believe they are absolutely going with Bradish and Grayson Rodriguez the first two.  Means likely game 3 and Kremer likely the 4th?  But I certainly think Gibson will be used.  Too bad Lopez is not eligible.  We have no clue a out Bautista yet.

    Hey Rick.  Yay us!!!  :)

I knew the Palmer thing was last night which is why I don't get why tonight is sold out and last night wasn't, but since I wasn't going to either game (we're going tomorrow), I really didn't care.

We will be at game 1 for the Division Series - yay!!!  That series is 5 games.  I'm guessing Bradish will start that game, but I have no idea what the rest of the rotation will be.

Exciting time!  Too bad we lost Brooks so close to all of this.

ebk, have you ever thought about going to that Splash zone section, or is that not for you...  :D

Not a chance on this earth!!  :)  Not only don't I want to get wet, but those seats are so far away they may as well be in another zip code!

Congrats to jabe and Bong-Man. I believe they were the lone two who picked the Washington Football team today. The Broncos should've just let that Washington RB walk into the endzone on that last drive...

But--trying to be an optimist--maybe if Washington has a good year, Eric Bienemy will finally get that elusive head coaching job....

    What am I - chopped liver?  ;)

So far, I think I'm the only one picking Pittsburgh Monday Night & I'm basing that on their rep as a once proud franchise. I wonder if that will pay off. At any rate, there should be a better baseball game to watch this Monday...  :D

Any baseball game is a better game to watch...  ;)

why was announcer suspended?  Mets were blacked out here.  I have MLB for rest of year Esther to watch our Os!!!

He was suspended because John Angelos is an idiot.  This has pissed me off no end.  I think most of our broadcast crew sucks, but Brown is the best of the lot.  What a stupid, stupid thing for him to do.  Brings back bad memories of the whole Jon Miller thing and makes us look really dumb when we should be looking really fabulous.
