With a bum like David Peterson pitching tonight, that's guaranteed victory for the Orioles. I'm guessing 8-2 final score....

    I'm all for that...  :)

Was watching the Red Sox play the Braves at Fenway.  I don't usually have an opinion about another team's uniforms, but the Red Sox wearing opaque blue and canary yellow was a little hard to digest.  Not sure what the reason was, but don't.  Just don't.

It's their City Connect uni, honoring the Boston Marathon.

I hate most, if not all, of the City Connect unis.

Nobody was beating Keller today.  Sorry you had to sit through it.  Nice crowd.  I suffered through it too.  We’ll bounce back

Eh - it was a beautiful day!  Way too many people there, but great weather.

I checked the team store and the Mitchell & Ness kiosk - no gray road jerseys.  I don't get it, but they seem to have disappeared.  I'll keep checking.

Orioles win.  2-0 shutout gets them to 26-13.  2nd best in baseball.  Only 3 back.  Tampa beat in slugfest by Yankees

2 good games!  I'm sure they'll lose tomorrow when I'm there...

Had a friend in town this week and she loves Canter's so I took her for breakfast there for the past two days. On Thursday, just as our breakfast arrived the restaurant stereo was playing "Going to California". Today, "Stairway To Heaven" was playing as the waitress brought our plates. I took that as a good omen.

I had scrambled eggs, lox, and onions, hash browns, and a bagel both mornings.

No, the Shrimp lost the game 6-2, but the seats were excellent, especially later in the game when I got to move back a few rows to seats that were in the shade. Heat aside though, it was a good time...

Shade is very important!  I always try to get seats in the shade, although that's a tough one in a single-deck stadium.

Glad you had a good time and hope you go again.  The season is just beginning!

St Pete beach is south of Treasure Island so you do have to take that toll bridge. As far as Clearwater, I love their beaches…it’s overpriced for sure. But, The Columbia restaurant is fab there!

Haven't been to the one in Clearwater, but the original Columbia in Ybor City is incredible! We usually stop there for lunch on our way to the airport when we leave.  Someday, we will do that again...
