Huh.  I, on the other hand, thought it was a spectacular show.  Much better than the past few years.  A fairly good group of honorees, a slightly different format, and good performances.  I'm also not a fan of Ms. Leon's music, but everything isn't for everyone.  I hope whoever produced the show this year sticks around.

Dan Connolly of The Athletic seems to like the news guys just fine.  I really don't know much about them (I tend to not pay too much attention in the off-season...okay, even in the on-season  ).  I'd venture to say the top pick in the draft will spend at least a year in the minors - I don't think we need to rush him up.  But, we'll see.

Christmas night, not Christmas Eve.  We went at midnight because I worked in theatre and we usually had shows on Christmas, so we went late.  A lot of people want to get out of the house by evening after spending the day with the family...
