  1. Dream Days at The Hotel Existence by Powderfinger
  2. There are currently three books on my list, The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx. Almost finished. Interesting to see what drugs make people do.. Running Down a Dream on Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Only a few pages. Very good.Well written, beautiful pictures, great coffee table music book Magus, Magician, Man- Jimmy Page by George Case. I will leave this one after I finished the Tom Petty's.
  3. Oh yes! Lynyrd Skynyrd! Great and very unfortunate band! I would say that after LZ and Pink Floyd, the Lynyrds come as one of my favorite bands. Unfortunately, they weren't much known in Europe (where I come from) despite they had a big following from fans. Definitely, the original line up was the REAL thing. The magic they had will never be replaced. NEVER.Without Ronnie, Allen and Steve it will never be the same. Sad but true. This is a band like LZ that leaves a deep mark in your heart.
  4. Wow, nice pictures! were you at the concert?
  5. How about pm your myspace address so we can read these naughtys tories about Jimmy? Now you got us curious.. You shouldn't have started...
  6. Those are always welcome, Lady Raven..come on tell us
  7. Good on ya! the pictures are nice. Never seen them before..
  8. If he looked like that...simple past...
  9. hey, haven't seen this one!!! WOW, I love it!!!where did you get it from?
  10. Wow! The words you chose to express your feelings on his solos are so much describing the perfect lovemaking, or should I say the big O? The point of no return.A journey you don't want to end but that you can't wait till you get there, to the final destination! My goodness, ladies. If Jimmy's solos can make us feel all these emotions and butterflies inside, he should know.... We just want to thank him!
  11. Probably already posted but what the hell.. just to refresh our memory on the handsome man
  12. Very very nice. Danke schon.
  13. Sorry Jethro Tull, that's very rude of me not to compliment on you and your picture! I have just realized that in my post I talked only about me and Venice, and blah blah blah... typical of me, I just went gaga when I saw it because of Venice. Anyway, I'll try to amend my lack of consideration.Great picture and nice to meet you.You actually remind me of a neighbour I had when I used to live in Italy. He looks exactly like you..uhm, I mean you look like him .... well, whatever... Hope you had a beautiful stay when in Venice.
  14. I know, you are definitely right, That solo is amazing! You won't believe but I coincidentally watched it on the DVD last night after a long time! He just plays it wonderfully. I like the last bit when he plays a few notes fast and hard like he wants to beat his guitar (he looks like a maniac) and simultaneously Robert goes with something like Oh Oh Oh ... (that's almost before the end of the song). Well, that always makes me laugh! Great song, great solo! love it!
  15. Ruben, I will pm you my MSN address. I have been living in Sydney for the last three years now as I reside in Australia for work, but I am 100% Italian! Mi corazon es dividido entre Australia e Italia because I love both countries!
  16. Hey, Venice! My hometown! How much I miss it! So many good memories. One of the most beautiful cities in the world. VENEZIA VENEZIA, TI ADORO.
  17. Trying to look like hunky Chris Cornell, huh? Looking good..
  18. Welcome to this thread, Zepsteve! Now that a guy is checking this out, I feel a bit for all my posts! Guess you are thinking we all are a bit out of control (let's just say that) here I posted the Heartbreaker solo on the "Awesome solo threads". I could have said that his solos on Dazed & confused and Since I 've been Loving you are his best, but to me this has a special thing about it. You gotta either love it or hate it. That solo is what makes Jimmy so different from any other best guitarists. No one can express his talent like that. It's not about technique and playing by the book: it's playing by your own instinct, dirty and passionate. There's an interesting post in that youtube. It says that this solo sums up three different guitarists' playing (Slash, Eddie Van Halen, Malmsteen). Great guitar players, but if you take them individually you won't find the same emotional & passionate drive.
  19. I like you, Suz. We are in the same wave length. Feeling the same here. Again, it's a guitar thing hahaha
  20. Thanks, Diana-loura! Talking about sexy Jimmy, I have just posted in the LZ Masterforum on the "Awesome Jimmy's solos thread " the link for his Heartbreaker solo, one of my favorites. Check that out and then let know if he doesn't look HOT HOT HOT. He's a heartbreaker, indeed!
  21. Muchas gracias, Rubenito. Heartbreakers like the LZ song ... it's more "Good times Bad times" . You know, sometimes you break hearts others you get your heart broken.. such is life
  22. Thanx, mate! ...sometimes I get too carried away with words... but, hey, if the subject is sooo interesting.. Now you make me with your " to be played that way"...wow.
