I bought that up in post#14. It was a show called "The List" that used to come on VH1 from 1999-2000.

There was a live feed to CNN set up in one of our conference rooms at work and I got to watch some of it. I did get to see the part of him and Biden getting sworn in and then about the first 10 minutes of his speech, but unfortunately had to go back to work. Made my day, I must say!

I thought others in this thread were also saying what music also lifts them out of a depression. These are songs I like to listen to while depressed and I don't like to stay depressed either.

Welcome to the board! Good for you for standing up for yourself and listening to what you enjoy and don't care what others think, I am the exact same way! That is the best thing about music, no matter what genre, it is what moves you and no other band moves me like Zeppelin either!

No problem! I understand what you are saying, I just happen to like the songs listed on these compilations. This is actually the first time I have bought some of the NOW compilations. Haven't been too interested in the other versions. Don't get me wrong, I like some old school country too.

I agree! Love them both. When I am feeling down, I have to put on some upbeat stuff, don't mind slow songs, as long as they are not sad.
