  1. Yep. Not only that, but I had meet and greet with the crowes and JP set up as I’ve known rich and Chris since 1985/86 when they were mr. crowes garden before they were the black crowes (their parents lived in Marietta, GA ; not far from me). Steve Gorman worked at savage pizza in little five points East Atlanta early in and I frequented there a good bit, too! Thankfully, I met page & Plant in May 98 in Charleston SC R😎
  2. I’d love to hear it, too, please Steve. i had front row tickets for Atlanta, but JP’s injury cancelled it. R😎
  3. Nice work, Steve. Can you please send me the link? R😎
  4. I DVR’d it only to see the “In Memoriam” section (which they butchered by singing / showboating over), nominees/winners, and any real live music performances; most of it was skipped / fast forwarded through... R😎
  5. R.I.P. Bobby Rydell (79) R😎
  6. Grammy 2022 In Memoriam: Taylor Hawkins (R.I.P.) R😎
  7. Your best bet would be to see Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, as the others (3 survivors plus Jason behind the kit) last performed together back in 2007 as a one-off for Ahmet at a special event. Robert has his solo career, too, if you want to see him on tour this summer. JPJ did a bass performance recently for humanitarian effort (video on YouTube). JP did a re-issue campaign of the entire Led Zeppelin catalog. That’s the reality of all things Led Zeppelin. R😎
  8. Perhaps you should have sent your reply to me as a private message, but since you didn’t, here’s my reply. Since no one else has really stepped up consistently to regularly post / contribute to honor lives of those that have passed day to day (objectively), I found this to be the best way to contribute in a positive manner on the least confrontational thread on the forum (until recently). Like weather and sports scores, objective posting of information should also be captured in a similar manner with the daily obituaries as seen in newspapers. When forum members go off topic; delving into their own personal anecdotes / conjecture, some then make light of the deceased, then it can open up a rabbit trail to subjective finger pointing and then ultimately verbal assaults towards other members (like most other threads). Some (unfortunately) want & thrive on forum chaos. Those members need to just go. There shouldn’t be any place for that behavior especially on a thread dedicated to honoring the lives of those that recently passed away (regardless of the occupation, political party, lifestyle, choices, etc... ) Hope this helps ... R😎
  9. Oscars In Memoriam 2022: R😎
  10. I was speaking of @Plant77 @BobDobbs not @SteveAJones If you misread my comment above ... Steve did consolidate the other posts and this thread is to have a place for this topic. BobDobbs always tries to hijack forum threads for arguments, mocking other forum members ; and just being a Troll. I’m not the harbinger of death. Just looking to contribute to the forum in a positive manner; not what another attempts to do regularly. R😎
  11. @Plant77 @BobDobbs Can you both (listed above) leave your disagreements off of this thread and let these people mentioned RIP? This thread is to honor the memory of those we’ve lost recently. @SteveAJones started this thread almost 9 years ago to help forum members honor those we’ve lost. R😎
  12. Yep posted in R.I.P. thread earlier R😎
  13. R.I.P. Taylor Hawkins (50) foo fighters drummer R😎
  14. Comedian Jeff Foxworthy on the radio today In Atlanta promoting his new tv special, said he finally met Robert Plant recently and said Plant enjoyed his “you might be a redneck” jokes. R😎
