One advantage of old age - made it to all the Fillmore shows in SF...January & April...
front row between Mr Page and Mr Plant
Several of the Winterland '69 the WLL premier........all 3 Nov '69 Winterlands
Oakland '70, , Berkeley both shows '71. No '73, family tragedy kept me home.
also both 77 Bill Grahams Day on the Green shows
What's the best year? The one that's playing. Still, Plant's voice 70 and 71
For the rest of the lads, give me some 3/21, 22, 24 Germany
Ps 9-19-70 NY (evening show) just cuz it feels good to type it.
Holy Shit!

I love seeing photo's of Zeppelin at my home town! I never got to see them live, but did catch Robert Plant in 1983 at the Rosemont Horizon. First concert had to be Robert Plant! Saw The Firm at the same venue a year or two later.

The recording is Led Zeppelin's March 21, 1970 performance in Vancouver, British Columbia.
It's weird to hear Plant greet the audience with the Everybody feel alright and go into Heartbreaker. I have a feeling that was his opening comment before hitting on We're Gonna Groove. Love how Robert tries to get Ramble On going during Communication Breakdown. Apart from the 02 version, that's the only live version I've ever heard. Sure would be nice to hear the rest of the show - the recording is fantastic!

Huge fan of Zeppelin in 1970. This is one of my favorite shows.

They sure seemed to swap clothes quite a bit. Just shows how close Jimmy and Robert were.

Dang! That sounds really good!

Word on the street is that someone from Empress Valley snuck in a mobile phone to the screening and they're about to release a bootleg DVD. I'm kidding, but won't be long before someone does exactly that or at least on YouTube.

I think it will be on par with the companion audio mixes JP re-released a few years ago. There were some absolute gems on those companion discs, some real head scratchers as well. It's going to be a mixed bag - some great stuff, some not so great stuff. Either way, I'm looking forward to it. Maybe there'll be a companion audio release to go along with it?

Here's one of the first reviews of the film. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/becoming-led-zeppelin-review-amazing-214636040.html

I'd seen Robert Plant at least two times by the time this tour came around. I'm really sorry I missed it.

These are great. Never thought of Robert as a Winston guy though. Wonder if he still smokes?

This is one of favorite Terry Reid performances...

I'm really glad they did this! Looking forward to hearing the rest! Just ordered mine - Coke Bottle Green Vinyl - Limited to 1500 copies.

Crossing fingers there will be an audio release to go along with this.

MosDef If It Keeps On Raining... Love that Bass as mentioned earlier. I can just see the four of them working it out and Jonesy with that intro. Sure wish that intro was longer - it's a killer groove.

Well it was 33 years from the Royal Albert Hall gig till the show came out on DVD in 2003. Prior to the DVD release many of us thought we'd never see that show and we got nearly the whole dang thing. I just hope we won't have to wait 30+ years for this to come out....

They went into It's Your Thing (do what you wanna do - I can't tell you, who to sock it to...) with excellent wah pedal work.
It's really a great groove and I wish they would have expanded it a bit longer. Page does use that same section in other live songs I've heard but Plant never reprises the lyrics. Shame really because he kills it just like For What It's Worth from the same era.
