I think on any topic concerning sex, people have strong views. Very personal ones, too. Maybe some people's beliefs are based on religious practice. I haven't noticed anyone here posting a response that appeared to be based on Christianity. It is also "human nature" no matter how you look at it, to judge others. It's done consciously and subconsciously all the time. Your actions are what wind up being more important than your thoughts. I didn't think any of the posts were all that judgemental against those who enjoy one night stands. People seemed very humble in their replies, imo. I have never been religious so that has nothing to do with my reasons for not being interested in one night stands. I have already explained my feelings earlier. I do find it interesting however, that you call it an "indiscretion".

She's home all day, and all summer. Hell yes, i would have dinner on the table (as many women would have), and probably a "before dinner" drink waiting, too. Dinner might have to stay warm for a few minutes, lol. I mean really, she was hinting to him, after he came home from working all day, that he should cook? That is crazy.

Well IMO, you must have said some really terrible things for her to leave, with the dog no less. Was her trip to the B & B already planned or was that her "leaving" because of what you said? I can't imagine what could be so hurtful that i would leave my home and go to a hotel (with the scenario you paint, doesn't seem like it was justified). Unless you were physical with her, i think it sounds quite extreme on her part. I don't have enough information to see things any other way. My thoughs on her, she should have had dinner already on the table when you arrived home from work. End of story.

I'm not talking about dating. I'm talking about when you first meet someone and you are talking and they touch you. That is how i interpreted what Spats meant, too. I talk to men and women at work everyday who touch me during the conversation, and i feel affection from it. But if i'm talking to a stranger and they touch me, i feel it's uninvited. I'm not saying i've never touched someone i shouldn't have, either. and agreed, guys don't mind it...i proved that in front of hundreds of people one time. I have never had an issue with "bold". Maybe obnoxious, lol.
