  1. There were rumours about Tori and Robert years ago. I love Tori Amos, consider her one of my two favorite female singers (shares the honor with Liz Fraser of the Cocteau Twins). I have seen Tori in concert and she is wonderful. Favorite albums: Little Earthquakes, Under the Pink, Boys for Pele. Favorite song: Tear In Your Hand, other favs: Silent All These Years, Past the Mission (Trent Reznor sings background vocals on this song), Cornflake Girl, Hey Jupiter, Caught a Lite Sneeze, Spark, Jackie's Strenght. I also think she has an original beauty...

  6. If i was a rock star i would want to drug test my drivers and the guys who handle my equipment. Other than that, of course not.
  7. Like I've Never Been Gone...Robert Plant
  8. The Night Before...The Beatles
  9. Sounds like a generalization to me. Maybe years down the road, but why should your present sex life change just because of a wedding ceremony?
  10. I took your response as being facetious towards Jethro Tull, but now i understand you were serious. Well i agree, if his parents did their best, he should not be crying about it. As a single mom, i know exactly how expensive and difficult it is to raise a child. Actually, that's an understatement...
  11. My Mom is the best grandparent. My dad loves the kids, too, but my mom spends at least three days a week, into the wee hours of the next day, babysitting her grandchildren. She has five of them, and for me especially, my mom is like a second mom to my daughter. I wouldn't know what to do without her help ( i work crazy hours that no daycare/school can accommodate). But yeah AL, good job! Grandchildren who having loving Pop Pop's are very lucky!
  12. LOL. Very funny... I don't associate with people like that. Where i live and grew up everyone is middle to upper middle class, but not "rich". I can't think of any "spoiled brats" i have known, and if i did i would have just ignored them anyway. Now my daughter has been called a "spoiled brat" a time or two, but really she is just a fun loving, energetic, highly intelligent and curious little being. She will grow up to be a wonderful adult. Her mom with never have the kind of money i would like to have to "spoil her"...but she will always be well cared for.
  13. Mine was, too (now yesterday). Any chance today will be brighter?
  14. I'm Just A Singer In A Rock N Roll Band...The Moody Blues
  15. I'm also annoyed about the rain. My daughter was looking forward to the fireworks and we are also rained out. The carnival shut down the rides but tomorrow's another day. Hopefully we can see the fireworks then...
  16. I saw them back in either 79 or 80 but i don't listen to them anymore. Good show, i remember. Can't help you with your question.
  17. Ledbaby makes me laugh. So hard sometimes i cry, lol. you are my favorite member...

  18. Hey ledbaby who's this katy person? lol...she's got a mess for ya?

  19. How should i know, LOL? Ask ledbaby what he meant. Whatever it was, i'm sure you wouldn't go with it...
  20. Going to the carnival tonight with my sister, some friends and a bunch of our kids! Lots of rides, food and fireworks at 9:30. I hope it doesn't rain, been cloudy all day. Happy 4th everyone!
  21. Captures the feeling of "celebration": Fourth Of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) Artist: Bruce Springsteen Album: The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle Sandy, the fireworks are hailin' over Little Eden tonight Forcin' a light into all those stony faces left stranded on this warm July Down in town the circuit's full of switchblade lovers, so fast, so shiny, so sharp As the wizards play down on Pinball Way on the boardwalk way past dark And the boys from the casino dance with their shirts open like Latin lovers on the shore Chasin' all them silly New York virgins by the score Sandy, the aurora is risin' behind us Those pier lights, our carnival life forever Oh, love me tonight, for I may never see you again Hey, Sandy girl... my baby Now the greasers, they tramp the streets or get busted for sleepin' on the beach all night Them boys in their high heels, ah Sandy, their skins are so white And me, I just got tired of hangin' in them dusty arcades, bangin' them pleasure machines Chasin' the factory girls underneath the boardwalk, where they all promised to unsnap their jeans And you know that Tilt-a-Whirl down on the south beach drag? I got on it last night and my shirt got caught And it kept me spinnin', they didn't think I'd ever get off Sandy, the aurora is risin' behind us Those pier lights, our carnival life on the water Runnin', laughin' underneath the boardwalk with the boss's daughter I remember, Sandy girl... my baby Sandy, the waitress I was seein' lost her desire for me I spoke with her last night, she said she won't set herself on fire for me anymore She worked that joint under the boardwalk, she was always the girl you saw boppin' down the beach with the radio Kids say last night she was dressed like a star in one of the cheap little seaside bars, and I saw her parked with her lover boy out on the Kokomo Did you hear, the cops finally busted Madame Marie for tellin' fortunes better than they do? For me this carnival life's through-- you ought to quit this scene too Sandy, the aurora is risin' behind us Those pier lights, our carnival life forever Oh, love me tonight and I promise I'll love you forever Oh, I mean it, Sandy girl
  22. It made me happy to pick up my daughter from my mom's house (god i missed her last night) and getting a great big "hello, mommy" followed by the most wonderful hug. Pure heaven. I will be even happier when i hear ledbaby's sexy voice
