Fool in the rain lyrics

Now I will stand in the rain on the corner,

I watch the people go shufflin' downtown.

Another ten minutes no longer

And then I'm turnin' around 'round.

And the clock on the wall's movin' slower,

Oh my heart it sinks to the ground

And the storm that I thought would blow over

Clouds the light of the love that I found

Fits what I've always heard. Might be wrong, but I'm just a fool myself!

OH now my body is starting to quiver

And the palms of my hands getting wet

I got no reason to doubt you baby

It's all a terrible mess

And I run in the rain till I'm breathless

When I'm breathless I run till I drop

?????????????????????????????????????????

I'm just a fool waiting on the wrong block oh-yeah.

I looked the missing line up and found at least two different examples I don't remember witch one is right if ether. I used to have the official song book some time ago but, that's been years ago and I don't remember if "Fool In The Rain" was in it or not. I don't even have a copy of "In Through The Out Door" right now so I can't even listen to it to even take a stab and/or jog my memory. I really should remember it as the band I was in back in the day did that song and I was the singer :bagoverhead::oops: !

My only excuse is that it's been almost 2 decades since then and I was on drug's and alcohol on a daily basis.

Sorry but that's the best I can do for ya. B)

This actually happened to me in 2002. I was supposed to meet a woman in Manhattan on the corner of 6th Avenue and 4th Street (or something) turns out I waited for 40 minutes on the corner of 4th Avenue and 6th Street. Never have I seen that woman again, actually we live on separate continents, but that day we both were in New York.
