Apparently, a film of LZ laying down mixes in the studio has a 40 second exerpt in MPEG2 format.

Does anyone know any more about it, date, where to find this 40 second clip, etc? That would be great. Perhaps Steve could help?

From the email chain from that member on RO posted:

1. The Led Zeppelin II Sessions - video

In-studio film footage of the band laying down one of the greatest rock

albums of all time.

There's a 40 second clip of the II footage floating around as MPEG2

(compressed to hell). It's the same quality as the Hendrix in Laurel Canyon

(TTG Studios) footage.

Oh yea, right, it would be neat if it was minutes though!:D Damn, I know it's on the net somewhere as MPEG2 format, just where??? There's so much Zep footage out there, Bath 69', Central Park, Pontiac etc., we don't have access to any of it!:(

There's no evidence to suggest that Pontiac exists. I know Bath is the holy grail to a lot of Zep fans but Pontiac is the grail for me!

I would have to say RAH would be neat to have, but a great amount of it was already released, so I'd have to agree with you zepfilm, MSG is the Holy Grail, but remember they only filmed each song in parts each day, anyway...

I don't think we're going to get any replies soon!<_<
