All forms of racing are welcome here, so let's start discussing topics speed freaks! How will Danica do in stock car racing, for her first full-time ride? Will Tony Stewart repeat as champ? What about F1? Will it be dominated again like last year? Will Ashley Force win a title this year? What will happen in the IRL after losing their biggest star and the last race of the year death of Dan Wheldon? Congrats to "the dinger" and his team for winning the Rolex 24 at Daytona a few weeks ago!! I think he will shine in that 22 car for Penske. Drivers, START YOUR ENGINES!!! I wanted Harvick to finish better than 7th, but by the end of it just wanted him to get out of there in one piece! If they would have foamed the fire in the first place, it wouldn't have gotten out of hand like it did. They were using hand held fire extinguishers when the fire first started - with 200 gallons of jet fuel spewing out! Just glad nobody got hurt, but another crazy 500 for sure! Stock cars racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend. First race for the Nationwide Series there and for the Rolex Sports Car Series. It's also the 10-year anniversary of safer barriers (soft-walls) being implemented at race tracks. Who knows how many lives have been saved by them....
