2bitnogoodjive
What an EPIC photo! Which is of the course the photo they used for the LZ I album cover that we all know and love. Jimmy Page commented about meeting the Baroness Von Zeppelin in 1969 during the Danish TV show: And it was Baroness Von Zeppelin and she was so overjoyed that we used the family name with all the pleasantries and such. They took her to the studio and showed her the album cover of the zeppelin crashing to the ground. There was this almighty shrieking and she was threatening to have her lawyers stop the show and all of this was going on right to the moment of transmission, so it relects in the show, I can tell you. Kareem
There are only 3 known survivors alive today-2 passengers and one man from the ground crew.

Jahfin
Considering 35 out of the 97 people on board died, I don't see any beauty in that photograph whatsoever.
2bitnogoodjive
I think it's a fascinating photo that foreshadows the failure and defeat of the Third Reich in WW II.
Jahfin
"Fascinating" perhaps. "Lovely"? No, at least not to my eyes. It was a very horrific event so it's not something I associate with beauty.
