Walter
One of the few things I remember from the Potzdamer Platz show of The Wall, was that after the first song the sound didn't work anymore, and that it took them several minutes to fix the problem. Yeah on the radio broadcast they said that something missed its cue and they had to reset the production to have it properly on cue for the effects. Cletus
Something I have that nobody's mentioned is a 6-track CD of 'The First 3 Singles'. In fact, I also have a 10-track version called 'The Pink Floyd Early Singles', which adds the As & Bs of their final two post-Syd 60s singles. This was originally part of the 'Shine On' box, but I acquired it separately. This makes me wonder how many PF fans here don't own Apples And Oranges, which IMO is one of PF's finest songs...? I recently heard "Point Me At The Sky" for the first time. I think it's a great song. A few of those early singles I have yet to hear.
Jahfin
Jahfin was there any need for your sarcastic reply? Or haven't you an intelligent answer to make, if it's been edited then strictly it's not live is it? Just clarifying why there was a difference. Clearly raw, unedited footage is going to be polished up for an official release. You seemed surprised that it was. And it's still live footage, whether it's been edited or not. It's just taped live footage that's been cleaned up for consumption by the masses. Did you actually expect it to be released as it was, warts and all, straight from the live feed? From your reaction to the final product, I'm guessing you were.

Cletus
The SNL incident occured in 1992, if I'm correct. So it couldn't have been a result of that.
