unleasher
Did Jimmy ever talk about what their plans were if Bonzo had not died? What was the band planning that year and how long would they have continued, etc?
Knebby
A UK tour after the US one. Bonzo confirmed this at his TV appearance in March 1980.
klepzep
That and a more 'direct' album than 'In through the out door', apparently....(see 'John Bonham: A Thunder of Drums', Chris Welch & Geoff Nicholls, pag.121 - or the recent Hoskyns' book, pag. 431);
hecube
I don't remember the source or the exact words, but Page recalled discussing the next album with Bonham and agreeing that it would be a harder album than "In through the out door" and riff-based. It makes me wonder what that album would have sounded like and how much longer they would have gone for. I guess there's a ton of those what-if's with Zeppelin though.
