Strider77 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 (edited) I really like this era, the early september's gigs. Jimmy is on fire, clean and spontaneous. Bonzo, no comment, I think this is one of his best performance. I rediscovered the goove of heartbreaker. Great solo too, what a final ! (7:02 ) I can't explain the 3 dislikes. Black dog is insane. Especialy the solo. I do not exchange 10 earls court against this live. Edited January 26, 2014 by Strider77 Quote
bluecongo Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 One of my fave 71 shows the band is very loose good crowd, wish the tape was complete! Quote
Strider77 Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 Yes. Missing the end But what we have is gold. I'd like to hear a witness of these few weeks. The artistic peak, considering the shape of the 4 musicians. Quote
Strider Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 "Celebration Day" is also killer from this show!!! As were most 1971 "Celebration Day"s. This, Berkeley, and the Orlando show are my essential listens from the 1971 North American Tour...and a prelude to the "Hammer of the Gods" delights of the '71 Japanese tour. Quote
Strider77 Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 3 different recording tone. I personally would have added New York. I'm sure people would wear a different look at the live play of Page. The quantity of new riffs this month.. Quote
