ninelives
This is about depressing music you listen to while depressed. NOT music to lift you out of a depression. Yes but sometimes people put those songs on when they're depressed and feel better afterwards.

Swede
Sorry Jethro, but I don't find any music depressing, no matter what the contents in the lyrics is. I don't think I listen to music that way. I can listen to the sadest song or happiest song in any mood I'm in.
danelectro
I agree, even sad music is a about having the strength to overcome it.
Electrophile
Recently when I've been in a funk, I've listened to In Rainbows by Radiohead. I don't know, but sometimes I have to stay in the mood to work myself out of it. Just listening to some fluffy pop song doesn't jolt me out of it. I need to jolt myself out of it. Edwin
I always listen to Zep "That's The Way" and "Northern Sky" by Nick Drake. Both of those are huge favourites of mine.
