  1. No problem. I'm glad you're enjoying it.
  2. No problem. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I've got two more things pretty close to being ready for release, April 27, 1969 and May 24, 1975. Keep an eye out for the announcements.
  3. Thanks. The recording already sounded good before I started working on it, which made it a lot easier to remaster it.
  4. This isn't bad for an audience recording, but it's amazing how different it is listening to this versus the pro recording from the next night.
  5. Thanks. I'm glad you're enjoying it. It is a really good performance.
  6. I don't know those specifics but there is video from this show, so it should be possible to figure out what he played this night.
  7. I'm glad you like it. Because this recording already sounded good, I didn't do much to it beyond remixing it to get the instruments and vocals in the correct places. For typical soundboards, the remixing is the easy part, it's getting them to sound good that takes most of the time.
  8. This is the latest installment in The Stereo Project. Sorry, no sample this time. This recording has always sounded good but the balance was off, so the main difference between this version and others is that I was able to move the instruments around so Jimmy's in the right channel and the rest of the band is centered. Send me a PM if you want a copy.
  9. Thanks. PM sent. If anyone else wants a copy, let me know.
  10. You can download a font from the site below that will let you write anything you want in the Led Zeppelin font: https://fontmeme.com/led-zeppelin-font/
  11. I can't see a reunion happening. Jimmy is done performing live. And even if he were to go back on the road, it wouldn't be with the Crowes (or Rich and Chris and whatever sidemen they picked up after they fired the rest of the Crowes.) According to Steve Gorman's book, Jimmy approached Rich about writing songs together and Rich's response was "No thanks. We don't need no more songs." Here's a Rolling Stone article about Steve's book. The discussion about the situation between Rich and Jimmy is number six in the list: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/black-crowes-book-steve-gorman-wild-stories-890664/
  12. I sent everybody who already asked for this show a link to the full version of Kashmir. If I missed anyone, please let me know.
  13. Mattius noticed the end of Kashmir is cut off. I figured out what happened. Before the conversion to stereo, I break each song into 3:30 segments because they are easier to work with. I then reassemble them into the full length song after the conversion when I'm mixing them into stereo. For Kashmir, I forgot to add the last segment back onto the rest. Sorry about that. I'll fix it and will update this thread to let people know how they can get the full length version, although that may take a bit as I have to go to work soon.
  14. The stereo version sounds the same as this one, except it's stereo and this one is mono. I didn't notice the cut in Kashmir. It definitely wasn't intentional. Thanks for the heads up. 15. This is the latest installment in The Stereo Project. It's the stereo remix of a show I did a few years back in mono. Send me a message if you want the link:
  16. Here's a start on Killing Floor from 4/27/69, but Robert's voice is too far in the background in a lot of the song to do much with.
  17. The software that splits the songs into individual instruments so I can remix them in stereo is open source and can be downloaded for free. I'll send you a message with info about it. The main software I use to do the remastering is "Ozone" by a company called Izotope. It's designed for mastering music that is relatively well recorded to begin with, so getting it to work on raw Zep soundboards requires multiple passes. I also use VST plugins by a variety of companies, all of which are sold through an online store called the Plugin Alliance. When I began doing this about a decade ago, I used all free software. While it was great to not have to spend money to get started, free software can change the sound of what you're working on in unintended ways. Once I realized this was going to be a long-term hobby, I decided purchasing professional software made sense because it reduced my frustration level and therefore made the hobby more enjoyable.
  18. Wish I'd Been There: Zep: 1/9/1970 - Smoking show and I'd be able to relive it on DVD, too. Reading Festival 1980: Rory Gallagher, Di'Anno-era Maiden and a bunch of other NWOBHM bands. Relive: Page and Plant, Boston 7/13/98 - Best concert I've ever been to.
  19. Sorry about your brother. I don't think anyone here is going to be able to help you get approval from the band for the company that's doing your seats to put the Zep symbols on them. However, it is possible to get the symbols on stickers from a number of sellers on eBay, which you could put on the inside front passenger window of your wrangler. That may not be what you were hoping for, but you'll see them whenever you're in the vehicle next to the seat where you're brother would be sitting if he were still here. This is the kind of thing I'm talking about:
  20. You can try contacting an auction house. Bonham's is well known and does rock music auctions. Here's the page where you submit info and images of your items for them to evaluate. https://sell.bonhams.com/ Or you can just list them on eBay and let the market tell you what they're worth. That is probably going to be the quickest way to sell your Dad's things, because auction houses have sales on set days and if you miss one of them you may have to wait months for the next one.
  21. Thanks. I just sent you a message with the link.
  22. I bought a top of the line backpack leaf blower. We had a large pile of very wet leaves that were all matted together after spending the winter under a heavy snowpack and it moved them like they were completely dry. It actually made blowing leaves fun.
