  3. Beautiful Full Harvest Moonrise this evening in Dallas! 🌚
  4. As a Zeppelin fan, I really love this song. Prince - Computer Blue
  5. The '77 Jimmy solo transition that really sticks out for me is the end of "White Summer/Black Mountain Side" going into "Kashmir." Jimmy is sitting on a small stool while soloing, and for the last note of Black Mountain Side, Jimmy stands and kicks the stool back in one motion, and immediately launches into the opening chords of the epic "Kashmir," with the power, the full force, the "Hammer Of The Gods..." I made a mix tape in the 90's with the quick edit between the two songs. Happy Daze!
  6. WECT TV 6 in Wilmington, NC is streaming live. Flooding is ongoing there. http://m.wect.com/live
  7. I was at the Houston and the Ft. Worth shows. Being there, I enjoyed them both immensely. A much better presentation overall, than the 'dress rehearsal' in Dallas on April 1st. The highlights of the Houston show for me, was TSRTS, Ten Years Gone, and the acoustic set. The highlights for the Ft. Worth show were IMTOD, ALS, and Kashmir. That Ft. Worth Kashmir was the high point of the '77 Tour for me, and, a high point of all my live Led Zeppelin personal experiences throughout their career.
  8. Watched Texas trounce USC in Austin. How Sweet it was !!!
  9. Some Music: A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall - Bob Dylan Shelter From The Storm - Live - 1976 - Ft. Collins, Co. - Bob Dylan

  12. Adagio for Strings - Haunting performance conducted by Leonard Bernstein https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVNhFMZP4NM
  13. Barnes & Noble left my city several years ago. But we do have a Half-Price Book store that does carry new releases. So, if the book ever appears there, I will look at it, to see if it's something I need. I'm picky, so we'll see. I was greatly disappointed with the Neal Preston book that came out in the 90's. So examining it in person will be the way I decide on a book.
  14. The very first song I ever heard played live by AC/DC was Hells Bells on their 1981 Tour. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etAIpkdhU9Q
  15. I have the Blu-ray audio disc. "The Ocean" is included as Track #10, sandwiched between "The Rain Song" and "Dazed And Confused." The 24 page booklet, has the notes that are same ones written in 2007 by Cameron Crowe. I will say, that for a product like this that's being bought by a whole lotta fans now over 50, they could have easily used a larger font, and each page certainly shows that they had to room to do it! The entire 15 tracks are in 5.1 Surround DTS HD Master Audio & in Stereo High-Resolution Linear PCM Audio Plus Video of C Day, OTHAFA, M M Hop, & The Ocean. Exclusive Photo Gallery The outside of the case and the outside of the album has a faux leather imprint on the black cardboard. The UPC # is 6-03497-85892-7 The Catalog # is BD2-567649
  16. This image of the earth was something I stared at a lot when really high. It was on the record sleeve of Jefferson Starship ~ Earth (1978).
  17. Yeah, after Jimmy Page no longer walks this Earth, maybe..
  18. Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings" (Used in Platoon) The Leonard Bernstein version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVNhFMZP4NM
  19. At the 1:01 mark, I can see what looks to be Jeff Beck kneeling in prayer at the front of the stage, with Frank Zappa, Keith Moon, and Marianne Faithful nearby.
  20. I'm gonna guess some time around the occasion of a RRHOF performance for someone's induction.
  21. I suggest that you listen to this remastered version with headphones on: Missing Persons ~ Mental Hopscotch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRzidbBM8fk
