  1. High Hopes (live at Earls Court; October 29th, 1994) - Pink Floyd The last track, on the last album, from the last ever concert. Amazing.
  2. High Hopes (live at Foxboro Stadium; May 19th, 1994) - Pink Floyd
  3. A friend of mine sent me a boot for a Pink Floyd show in Philadelphia back in 1987 I didn't have. Now, that's not what made me happy.....although I was certainly glad to have it! On the third disc, are some sound checks they did before show in Vienna in 1988. One of the "untitled jams" was based on Heartbreaker.....and not Pat Benatar's version. David was doing a little homage to Jimmy Page! That's the first time (that I've heard) of him doing any thing Zeppelin, even as a gag or jam. Two great guitarists....now THAT made me happy.
  4. High Hopes (live at the Carrier Dome, Syracuse; June 6th, 1994) - Pink Floyd You'd never know this was an audience recording. It's orgasmic.
  5. My copy of Ummagumma got scratched up when we moved, so I replaced it. $18 including shipping for a VG++ copy (vinyl and jacket) that the person I bought it from purchased himself in 1969. Not bad!
  6. The Division Bell is pretty damn good, but I agree it's better than The Final Cut. I love his solo stuff......I have all three of them on vinyl and the vinyl issue of On An Island cost me a pretty penny, but well worth it.
  7. David Gilmour is a god. Truly. Listen to his work on Obscured By Clouds.....such an underrated album.
  8. The Final Cut......ugh. Don't get me started on that one. If you like it that's great.....but I don't even own it.

  10. No, I can. It's just that I'm not used to that kind of cold anymore. North Carolina is more temperate than Georgia and locales further south, but this is still not typical of a winter around here. First time you head outside and that blast of cold air hits you square in the eyes, it takes you a second to adjust.

  12. It's cold outside, but at least the sun is shining. It makes being outside for brief periods, somewhat bearable.

  14. Hard to believe that's Dakota Fanning playing Cherie Currie.

I think the weather gods misheard me.
  17. The fact that even though it didn't snow for Christmas like everyone said it would, there was still snow on the ground so you could at least pretend it did.
  18. Turning the radio on for the first time in months and catching my favorite Christmas song (Celebrate Me Home by Kenny Loggins) just as it started.
  19. A Little Bit of Soap - The Jarmels
  20. SNOW!!! 8-12 inches they're saying now plus it's supposed to snow for Christmas. I'm elated.
