I have it on vinyl so no, I've never seen that picture. Although I think I know which one you're talking about. And WYWH is indeed a great album, David has said it's their best in his opinion. It certainly was the last album they did as foursome where you felt everyone was contributing in some way.

Time - Pink Floyd

If I had to rank my Top 5 Floyd albums, it would go as follows: Dark Side of the Moon Wish You Were Here Obscured By Clouds Animals The Division Bell My #1 and #2 interchange almost daily, but that's what it is today. Obscured By Clouds is criminally overlooked.

You mean High Hopes? Because that's the song the title is in. Specifically "the ringing of the division bell had begun". You're right though, it's an absolutely gorgeous song. Almost anthemic.

You must. I have it on mp3, CD and vinyl. Of the two post-Watersalbums they did, it's held up the best over the years. AMLoR is agreat album, don't get me wrong.....it just sounds like it was made inthe late 80s and some of the songs just don't sound very good now. TDBon the other hand.....it's as close to the "classic" Floyd sound thethree of them were going to get without Roger. It's worth it forCluster One, Keep Talking and High Hopes alone.

I think between me and pagemccartney, we can hook you up with the right albums to start with. You should probably begin with the quadrangle of Meddle-DSotM-WYWH-Animals and then after that, Obscured By Clouds and The Division Bell. Everything else should be to taste.

Being able to say I've done all my chores/errands for the day and just relax until the baseball game tonight.

It's the smirk. It kills me dead every time. It's like "yeah, I know I'm good." That sort of confidence-bordering-on-arrogance can be very attractive.

Unfortunately, my fandom came around after they stopped making music together....mostly because I was born in 1982, but I got into them on my own. Heard Comfortably Numb on the radio once, begged my dad for the album it came on....he bought me the cassette. Ironically enough, as much as I dislike 95% of The Wall, it's the only Floyd album I own on 4 mediums: vinyl, cassette, CD and mp3.
