I love the Himalaya! We wanted to go on it but the ride wasn't working and we didn't know when it would be and we didn't have time to just wait.

My sister and I just got back from the Dixie Classic Fair in Winston-Salem. Holy crap was that fun! I hadn't been on a Tilt-a-Whirl in about 15 years. The only ride I hated was the Sea Ray. My sister dragged me on that one; it's a pirate ship that swings back and forth - of course she wanted to sit all the way in the back. Well, when it swung all the way up, our asses came up off the seat. I was scared shitless. I had to Lamaze breathing just to keep from passing out. Otherwise I had one hell of a good time.

Personally, I have never felt he has been disrespectful to anyone. The only reason I said anything in the first place was that I found it...maybe annoying is not the right word, but slightly odd that he would respond to everyone with the exact same post, he would just change the screen name to suit who he was talking about. I likened it to a form letter a company would send out in a mass mailing. Each letter says the exact same thing, the only thing that changed was the salutation and the farewell. I didn't make mention of it because it bothered me or made me angry or offended me....it was something that stuck in the back of my head and I finally decided to ask about it.

My parents. My parents are smart people. They don't have college degrees because back when they graduated from high school, college wasn't damn near a necessity, but they're very smart. They read extensively, they gave my sister and I our love for education. Which is why this is so upsetting. My dad listens to Glenn Beck. Please don't ask me why, if I had that answer I'd cure him. Anyway, he called me up from work earlier today telling me he heard Glenn Beck say that Obama wants to force abortions on people and sterilize the infirmed/disabled....this was one of the few times in my life I actually told my dad to shut the hell up. I really hope this doesn't mean my dad is going insane.
