  5. I love the Stones. They're one of those bands I listen to a lot in spurts. I'll listen to them for a while non-stop and then won't listen to them again months. I just started listening to Let It Bleed again for the first time since probably Christmas.

  7. According to Gilmourish......... So according to this (and it's pretty damn accurate) David played the solo. Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 1 featured both David and Snowy, but not for this one. Anyone who is a fan of David's should check the site out --> http://www.gilmourish.com
  8. It was '78 and as far as I can see, no he didn't play on it.
  9. He didn't. I have all three of his solo albums (on vinyl) and he's not listed and looking online, he's not listed either.
  10. I love to bake. I have a ton of old cake recipes from the 40s and 50s that were in magazines of the time.....most for Swans Down Cake Flour. One of my favorites is the Spring Blossom Cake with Pale Lemon frosting. It's divine.
  11. Speaking of backyards, you have no idea how happy I was to see our backyard the first time we checked out the new house. We never had one before; back in Georgia, because of all the shading from the trees, grass had a hard time growing so we had a ton of patches of just red clay. Here we have a HUGE green lawn. It's gorge.
  12. My dad's favorite cake is pistachio cake, and we use two boxes of it. One goes in the regular white cake mix, the other in the frosting. We usually combine it with Dream Whip and it's fantastic.
  13. She probably uses cream cheese or something similar, I've never actually seen an ambrosia salad made without it. You can steal my grandmother's recipe if you want it! 2 packages of softened cream cheese 1 huge tub of whipped topping 1 can of Bing cherries 2 cans of crushed pineapples (drained) 1 bag of mini marshmallows
  14. This is like an ambrosia salad, but I don't know if my grandmother ever gave it a name - it's her recipe. As kids, my sister and I just used to call it the "cherry salad". Sometimes my mom puts marshmallows in it, although this time she didn't. I will say it's very refreshing on a hot day. Tastes like the inside of a cheesecake.
  15. My mom's salad - I don't know what it's called, but she mixes two packages of cream cheese and a huge tub of whipped topping with a can of Bing cherries and two cans of crushed pineapples. It's AMAZING.
  16. Thank you. She had a rough pregnancy last go around, so she's hoping this one goes smoother.
  17. Finding out my cousin is expecting. Ack, too many weddings and babies this year so far. I'm happy for her, but on the other hand it's infuriating when other relatives keep asking me when I'm getting married and knocked up next.
  18. LOL, Elizabeth. Although if they had chose to name her Electrophile, I would have busted out laughing.
  19. Thank you! I wasn't anticipating it to be honest, when she found out she was having a girl both her and her husband were pretty set on the name Sophia Charlotte. Sophia as they got engaged while at the Haga Sophia in Istanbul and Charlotte as that is her MIL's name.
