  1. Physical Graffiti. Zep IV had been my favorite, but I got so sick and tired of how overplayed it is, I just shelved it it and haven't listened to it in a long, long time. I prefer their underrated stuff more nowadays.....stuff people forget because it's not commercial or radio doesn't beat it to death. Aside from Kashmir, I've never heard anything off PG on the radio, which is why I like it so much.
  2. Sorry, had a brain fart. Don't know what I was thinking.
  3. Zep I: I Can't Quit You Baby Zep II: Dazed and Confused Zep III: Heartbreaker Zep IV: When The Levee Breaks HOTH: No Quarter PG: Ten Years Gone Presence: Tea For One ITTOD: In The Evening
  4. Good for you. Do you want a cookie? You missed the point of my original post, went off half-cocked for no reason and then when I explained the point of said post to you.....proceeded to again, miss the point.
  5. Wow....I haven't heard that song in years, it seems. Thanks for reminding me how much I used to love it. Right now I'm listening to......
  6. For me, Physical Graffiti. I always loved it and thought it was very artistic and interesting.
  7. Stairway To Heaven, Hot Dog, Hats Off to Roy Harper, Candy Store Rock, Royal Orleans, Livin' Lovin' Maid, The Crunge, Your Time Is Gonna Come.....more than a few. They did some great songs but then IMO, they did some real clunkers. No different than any other band, really.
  8. 1. Physical Graffiti 2. Presence 3. Zep I 4. Zep IV 5. In Through The Out Door Zep IV may have a curious placement to some of you, but I'm really, really, really burnt out on that album.
  9. Neither, really. I think part of their sound inspired what became heavy metal, but they certainly weren't a metal band. I also wouldn't call them a hippie band, either. A hippie band to me were groups like Strawberry Alarm Clock, Tommy James and the Shondells or The Youngbloods. Basically groups that had the bulk of their success in the "hippie" era, or 1967-1970. Robert Plant may have looked like a hippie on occasion, but I wouldn't call him or anyone else in the band one. They were a blues rock band, in the same vein as the Stones, the Who or Deep Purple.
  10. No, it just means he doesn't like something that you like. Any singer could be included in this list if you personally think their voice is awful.
  11. No it wasn't an educational scolding. I just posted the link if you wanted to read more and then quoted the relevant part that answered your question. You know me well enough to know that if I wanted to be a bitch about it, I would have.

  13. HAHAHAHA. Let me clear some things up for you. I don't drink, therefore I've never gotten drunk. I don't like fire, so I've never set off fireworks. I don't stuff my face with any food, much less grilled meats, although I do enjoy a grilled hamburger every now and again. So no......no hypocrisy there, although good on you for going completely off the rails and looking like a certified macadamia. It was amusing to say the least. So put your flag down, Yankee Doodle. You don't need to put on some display to try and show your patriotism -- I don't care. Also, Marist is a University, not a person. A simple Google search could have cleared that up for you, you know. You can see the poll that I'm talking about at the link below. You'll also notice that in the url for said poll you'll see "marist.edu".....that's a tip-off that it's a school......since you apparently didn't feel the need to use Google ahead of time. Why were they polling Americans? Because it would make no sense to poll the Portuguese. You'd be amazed at what people in this country DON'T know about basic principles like what country we got our independence from, how many articles/amendments are in the Constitution or even what are in the Bill of Rights. Every year about this time, either a certified pollster or a university releases a poll they conducted asking Americans a basic Civics 101-type question and we all get to laugh at the stupidity of the populace. I remember one year a poll was released asking Americans what one of the rights guaranteed in the 1st Amendment was and something like 30% responded with what was in the 2nd Amendment. So yeah, it's funny. And sad. Like I said, laugh or cry -- you be the judge. http://maristpoll.marist.edu/wp-content/misc/usapolls/US100617/July%204th_summer%20vacation/Country_From_Which_US_Declared_Independence.htm So do you want to take your blood pressure meds now or continue on the path to stroking out over absolutely fucking nothing? Your choice.
  14. Ah yes, the 4th of July. The day people get piss-drunk, set off small explosives and stuff their faces with all manner of grilled meats. None of which in any way reflects upon the significance of the day or why it's celebrated in the first place. A Marist poll was released a few days ago that showed 26% of Americans don't know the country from which we gained our independence. 20% didn't know the answer at all and 6% gave the wrong answer. Laugh.....cry.....you be the judge. Happy 4th to those who celebrate it. Don't blow anything up, don't under-cook your hamburgers, don't get drunk and remember why you get to do those things in the first place.
  15. First time I ever heard Dream On, I didn't believe it was Aerosmith. It sounded nothing like them vocally.
  16. There aren't any Led Zeppelin in my Top 50, much less Top 25. I don't listen to them as much anymore -- I get sick of them easily if I listen to them too often. That said, here's my Top 25: Solitary Man - Neil Diamond Holly Holy - Neil Diamond Speakerphone - Kylie Minogue Maybe I Know - Lesley Gore Just For Old Time's Sake - The McGuire Sisters Cherry, Cherry - Neil Diamond Halo - Beyonce We Just Disagree - Dave Mason Soul Kitchen - The Doors She's a Fool - Lesley Gore You Don't Own Me - Lesley Gore Breathe - Pink Floyd On The Run - Pink Floyd Money - Pink Floyd How Long - Ace Baby, I Love You - Andy Kim Love Is Here and Now You're Gone - The Supremes Young Girl - Gary Puckett & The Union Gap It Hurts To Be In Love - Gene Pitney Take Me With You - Kylie Minogue Summer Dreams - The McGuire Sisters Us and Them - Pink Floyd (Just Like) Romeo and Juliet - The Reflections Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood - The Animals Ooh La La - Goldfrapp
  17. I listen to Led Zeppelin because I think they did some good music. It's the same reason why I listen to every other band I enjoy.
  18. Head First -- Goldfrapp Aphrodite - Kylie Minogue Bionic - Christina Aguilera
  19. How about performing live on stage with Puff Daddy? That was pretty shitty.
  20. I pre-ordered the new Kylie Minogue album and with 2-day shipping it'll be at my house the day of release. WOO! I'm also going to pick up Goldfrapp's new album on vinyl and a couple vintage albums on Ebay.
