  1. Kiwi, I've just read on aeonblue's profile your comment that you've been having a bad week. I'm so sorry to hear this ((hugs)). You know where I am if you want to talk :)

  2. Housework never ends...

  3. Strider's looking very cute today (I mean Strider the dog!). Robert should have got one of those bikes with a basket on the front for him to sit in. :)

  4. I know I've not been around for a few weeks and it's a bit late now, but many congratulations on your wedding, and wishing you lots of happiness in your future life together.

  5. Happy belated birthday Sean. I'm really sorry that I missed it! Rachelx

  14. I have a renewed appreciation for Thomas Hardy after just revisting Far From The Madding Crowd.

  15. The photos you posted of Stonehenge and Snowdonia are really beautiful. Thank you for sharing them on here.

  16. Thank you for the links you posted on my profile page. Yes, you get get addicted to buying clothes, but I try to restrict myself to a monthly budget, but then I see something that's so lovely and unique that I just have to have it!:) There are lots of vintage clothes shops here in the UK and even found some lovely items in charity shops. If they don't fit properly I just get my sewi...

  17. Yes, vintage is very in vogue now in terms of fashion which is good news for me because I don't do jeans or trousers! I love the 1940s style tea dresse, or any clothes that have a vintage look to them. Looking through my postcards of the actresses from the '20s and '30s, the clothes they wore were so stylish, and they were natuarlly beautiful unlike a lot of actresses today.

  18. Thanks for the comments on my profile. Yes, we are the same age! I know it's a bit late now, but happy birthday!

I do like the picture on your profile, she's very pretty. I collect postcards of actresses from that era, they were all very glamorous back then and classy!

  19. That's such a groovy background! : )

  20. You're welcome aeonblue : ) I look forward to chatting with you on the forum.

  21. Thank you to everyone who's wished me happy birthday today, it really means a lot to me:) I've had a relaxing day listening to some music (and eating birthday cake!). I'm looking forward to meal out tonight now. I'm going out tomorrow to the shops to spend the money I've had for my birthday (it's not raining tomorrow!).

  22. Thank you. I was hoping to have Jimmy Page's book for my birthday, but we've all got to wait another two weeks at least. Very frustrating!

  23. We're having a very wet summer here in the UK. It's rained nearly everyday for the past month!

  24. Thanks for your comment on my profile. I must say that I'm loving your new backgroud paper, it looks like Victorian flocked wallper, very sophisticated. I also love your new picture on your profile. Is that woman from the '20s or '30s? Do you know who she is? I love anything vintage!:)
