  1. By the way, I found your comment about the Queen catalogue and Freddie's solo work in your thread, really funny! LOL! :D And again, it wasn't you who got me thinking about the whole "getting banned" situation! I have just witnessed it in some other fan forums (where people used to "report" off-topic posts to the moderators) and got a bit scared!

  2. Zdr, don't be silly! You did not say anything out of line! I was a bit nervous because I (in other forums) have seen people getting banned for being off topic! And I really love this forum way too much and that thought of getting banned sort of crossed my mind and I freaked! Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression! *BIG VIRTUAL HUG :D

  3. Wow! So that pic of Robert (your avi) is from this forum?! Wow! I think I need to start checking out the photos section of the forum more often! :P And I've got a separate folder on my laptop containing pics of Jimmy and Robert together! :P Its my little "guilty pleasure" :P

  4. Zdr, I truly love your new avatar! I noticed it just now while I was posting some funny stuff on my thread! And I have to ask, that is Robert isn't it? Wow! Gorgeous! :D

  5. Well, Led Zep ALWAYS cheers me up too! :) The weather was pretty rough here in Auckland too a couple of days ago with extremely strong winds and rain on and off! But now there's sunshine throughout the day! And Magic, c'mon! It's your birthday! Your special day! You deserve a break from cooking! And glad to hear you've got some awesome presents! :D

  6. Hi Magic! :D Wishing you a Very Happy Birthday!!! :D Hope you have an awesome day! And I do hope that book on Jimmy Page arrives soon!! :D

  7. You're very welcome! :D Cheers! :D

  8. Hi Danny! :D Your post in reply to mine in the "What Do You Guys Believe Exists?" made me laugh so hard that my sides started to hurt! LOL! You're a class act mate! I mean it! Your sense of humour is just priceless! Your post really brightened my day! Thank you so very much! And yes! I've watched "Lord Of The Rings" and I am not much o...

  9. I couldn't agree more about the 80s! Things became a bit too proper...From documentaries, I could see the change in people's mindsets in the 80s! And I love very few bands from the 80s like Bon Jovi and INXS and music became a bit too ummm "pop oriented" and "diva centric" LOL!

  10. Well, we Kiwis are very casual and laid-back. For instance, at my Uni, the professors do not give a damn whether students are late to class or do their homework on time, etc. Sometimes people just walk out of class if they find it too boring and there is no rule against smoking cigs on campus or guys having waist length hair! LOL!

  11. That movie is just priceless! Its a classic! :D Gosh! The 70s were one hell of a decade what with movies like that and bands like Zep and Floyd being at their prime! Its times like these when I really wish that I had been a teenager in the 70s! :)

  12. Awww...you're very welcome! :) I'm just stating a fact! And I couldn't agree with you more! Its finding these obscure bands who prove to be absolute gems which makes all this research so worth it! I try to stay away from the radio! LOL! Somehow, today's mainstream doesn't appeal to me much! Love underground stuff, indie and of course 60s psychedel...

  13. I truly think you deserve the tiltle "The Encyclopedia of Music" or something! Your knowledge of the blues, psychedelic rock and countless other genres is just so extensive! Thanks to you, I (during these past couple of weeks) have got into so many bands that its getting pretty tough to keep count! LOL! I, to be honest consider you to be the "voice of reason" aro...

  14. That video about Cheech and Chong ("Up In Smoke") is by far the funniest! Thank you so much for posting that! I laughed till my sides started to ache! That really brightened up my day today! Thank you so much!! :D

  15. Hey! :D Since its already the 12th of September here in NZ, here's wishing you a very happy birthday!! :D Have an awesome day! Cheers! :D

  16. Awww...thank you so much!!! :D

  17. And yes! I am really enjoying your contributions to my thread! I love the stuff about Jack Black, the stairway cover, the clip about tractor music and that song by Phil Harris called "The Thing". I laughed till my sides started to hurt! Thanks again zdr! Keep 'em coming! :D You're awesome! :D

  18. I know what you mean! Its like one minute your life seems just fine and the next its all just ripped from under you! Gosh! If there is one thing the earthquake incident taught me is that "life is too short and never ever take anything for granted!".

  19. zdr, I must confess that after this earthquake incident, I've been in a bit of a sad mood lately but your posts in the "Songs Which Make You Laugh Out Loud" thread really cheered me up! So, thank you so very much! :D

  20. Hi zdr! :) I'm alive and well! :) Thank you so much for your concern! :D I live in Auckland (upper North Island) so its pretty safe up here. We Aucklanders didn't even feel any sort of impact! *touch wood Sadly, South Island is more prone to earthquakes! :( Thank God, no casualties have been reported!

  21. Thanks for the recommendation page! :D Now, I am really really keen on checking it out! :D

  22. Wow! So, You were the creative force behind that band! Awesome! And may I add, the themes of the songs sound really cool! :D

  23. You're very welcome! :D And you wrote that song? Wow! That's so cool! :D

  24. Is it the 1979 documentary movie starring "The Who"? :) I've been meaning to see that one! :D
