Hmmmmm, I don't see why sasquatch (bigfoot) is as comical or as unbelievable as ghosts, aliens or God. It's just an animal (if it exists) and it's not as if there has never been any upright apelike animals walking this earth. Personally I find the idea some supernatural all powerful deity far more hilarious and preposterous, yet gazillions of people accept the Bible or the Koran and other such silly things. I know a couple of people who are quite sure what they saw was a sasquatch. Both are hunters and both never even thought about sasquatch before. Both are now totally obsessed with finding out about this animal. Actually there IS evidence for sasquatch. Just not verifiable proof. Unidentified hair samples have even been found. The famous Roger Patterson footage has still never been debunked and recent scientific analysis backs it up. The Loch Ness Monster might well have a mundane explanation. Could well be a sturgeon or some giant eel. There have been sonar hits on large animate objects in the loch.

I was in Adelaide once when it was around 43C for days and you are right, it's impossible to go outside. I was basically stuck there for 4 days in a cheap hotel with no air conditioning. I don't know how you folks take it. Well, even the local folks in Adelaide were hating it.

You would be in the minority. The huge plethora of tributes and eulogies aimed in Zeppelin's direction as 'the greatest rock band of all time' has been evident these last months. The Who never get those accolades. Almost nobody calls The Who 'the greatest rock band of all time'.

Ditto. My fave movie of all time as well. As I said, nothing has ever come close to matching my Jaws cinema experiences, and yes it is definately Spielberg's best film. Probably because it wasn't ALL Spielberg behind it. I do think Jaws is the scariest movie of all time because of the psychological effect it had on people after viewing. It stayed with you, long after the viewing experience ended. No film has ever come close to that. Jaws is the most psychologically effective movie ever made. People believed it and it affected them. I know people today who will not go swimming in the ocean because of Jaws. The power that movie had over people was unbelievable and for those who were not around at the time they wouldn't understand it. It was just meant to be a thriller......yet people thought it was a fact and sharks had a pretty rough time for a long while after and got very little sympathy.

I havent been to the movies for a while but after looking at your picture I wish I could go and see Jaws at the cinema again. Greatest movie experience I ever had was watching Jaws on the big screen. Ain't nothing like it.
