I have squirrels looking at me through the window from my back deck on some days. Wanting me to bring out the sunflower seeds faster. The cats just stare at them. So used to seeing them and knowing they are not a threat. I go out and put peanuts out, fill the feeder, and put suet in the suet feeders and they bury the fucking nuts faster than a bank robber hides the loot. Then go after the seeds the greedy little freeloaders. Well lets see if my Cardinal is back. The Blue Jays are gone? Maybe for the season?

They did not just beat them. They destroyed them. After they went into Pittsburgh and beat the Steelers at home. Nobody saw that coming either. They are a bookies dream come true. Well I am not so sure about that. Dallas has always been right there. Lots of hot ones on just about every team. Some of those college football teams have some real hot ones. I am the only one that picks Buffalo to beat Denver. I do not think their defense is anything special and we know if you stop Manning you stop Denver. If anyone can get to him its the Bills front line. Super Mario, K Williams and Dareus.

I put my Streak on ESPN on Dallas. The Falcons beat SF opening day in a great game. They have played better of late. Ryan is good. They might even beat Green Bay but I hope they dont so Green Bay is nice and ripe for their trip up here. Orton is playing damn well. His only problem is lack of mobility. If he could run out of the pocket, he could be an elite QB. He can throw with the best of them. After we bury Denver you wont be laughing. And Dallas had better win tonight

What are you gonna do with this Bills game Jabe? You know its huge. A local sports writer believes for us to get in we first must assume that Dec 21st visit to Oakland is a win. Then we must win 2 of 3 vs 3 future hall of fame QB's. Manning, Rogers, and Brady. Ouch. He says we have the defense to do it. But do we have the offense. I believe if the defense plays lights out, they can pull it off. But one at a time. We really do not want to lose the Denver game and be forced to run the table. Winning in Buffalo is never easy. Green Bay knows that. The lions were able to beat them with a good defense. We have to play against Denver's weakness's. And I believe that is their defense. Freddie Jackson and Brown must get some yards and kill some clock. Score and make Peyton throw and face a pass rush he has not seen the likes of yet

Dang, I think I may have created this thread in a former life. lOL. Anyway, my cranberry relish turned out great this year. My wife who normally is not a fan of it even liked it. 2 recipes follow cranberry relish and butternut squash The secret is using honey instead of sugar A bag of Ocean Spray cranberries, the redder you can find the better. 3 small clementine oranges (seedless) Honey to taste, probably a bit more than half of one of those small honey bears. Walnuts (makes it better unless you have an allergy or do not like nuts) After processing the cranberries and oranges and mixing with the honey, allow at least 4-5 days in the refrigerator to let the sugar from the honey work on the berries. Stir it after a day or two. If you think it needs more honey add some and it will be fine. My butternut squash comes out very good also I cut in half length ways 3 heads of butternut squash Bake at 350 for a couple hours and until a fork goes in easy Then scrape the insides out after it is cooled enough to handle with a pot holder into a large bowl Add 1/2 to 3/4 of a stick of butter Honey (maybe a half a bear or a little more) Brown Sugar (maybe about 3 tablespoons but to taste-the honey will sweeten it alot) Use an electric mixer on high and it will be smooth with no lumps. You will love it.

Here goes this week's Dallas Pittsburgh (they usually respond after a stinker and Cincy usually chokes vs Pittsburgh) St Louis NY Giants New Orleans Minnesota Baltimore Cleveland Detroit Jacksonville Buffalo Arizona Philly SF San Diego Green Bay ( I am not sure this is as easy as most of you think. I can see the upset happening after the emotional win over NE) Falcons better than advertised.
