  1. I love Star Wars!!! May the force be with you.
  2. Sorry The Rover, you are right. You should checkout the Born Again album with Ian Gillan, great album.
  3. You are not familiar with the Ozzy era? Those Dio era albums are classic, Falling Off The Edge Of The World is one of their best songs from that era, if not the best.
  4. Yeah I love the Dio albums, but it wasn't Sabbath, Sabbath is Ozzy, Bill, Geezer and Tony, just as Zeppelin is Robert, Jimmy, John and Bonzo, no more no less.
  5. Black Sabbath might as well have died after Ozzy left, it wasn't Sabbath anymore. At least Zeppelin kept their dignity.
  6. At least Led Zeppelin didn't become a laughing stock like Black Sabbath did, look how they screwed over Bill Ward this last reunion, people keep praising Brad Wilk on how good of a job he did, Bill would've mopped the floor with him as old as he is. I respect Zeppelin and their decision.
  7. I don't know if this is the right thread for this, but last night I watched, Led Zeppelin-The Song Remains The Same, I hadn't watched it in years, as a matter of fact I haven't watched it in so long that I watched it on VHS tape, still have my VCR.
  8. The much sought after bootleg, Sabbath's most rarest of all, Dumfries '69, I wonder how Sharon Osbourne felt after it's release on the net. She had the exclusive rights to it, I wonder how it made it on the net, if she had bought the original? Here is an article.: http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/black-sabbath-dumfries-69-master-sold-to-divine-recordings/
  9. I'd like to know what you all think of the post Ozzy Black Sabbath eras? Especially the Glen Hughes and Martin eras. But please feel fee to elaborate on the Dio and Gillan eras.
  10. Led Zeppelin's did the right thing in my honest opinion, you gotta respect them for not whoring the Zeppelin name and not dragging it through the mud with any Tom, Dick and Harry that walked through the revolving musical door. Who could they have replaced John Bonham with anyhows?
  11. Great post Ro Great post Rover, John Henry Bonham along with William Thomas Ward are two of my all time favorite drummers, no one comes close to them, not even a hair.
  12. The Dio albums were and are great, but they weren't Sabbath, they were Black Rainbow and the Ian Gillian album Born Again was Purple Sabbath, the rest of the albums I don't know what to call them. Black Sabbath always was and will be Ozzy, Tony, Geezer and Bill, no more no less. I think Zeppelin made the right decision in not continuing after John Bonham's untimely death, at least under the name Led Zeppelin.
