Just reported: A tree next to the Caylee memorial, where the remains were found, was just struck by lightning during an afternoon storm! You can't make this shit up! There is a reporter doing a live feed from there. -
I wouldn't go THAT far!

Baez has released a statement that he and only he, has signed a deal. Made sure to say that Casey has not. I'm sure that is a legal front so she'll save money from going back to the state. Yes "not guilty" does not mean innocent. I can accept the jury not finding her guilty and sending her to the needle. But to find her not guilty of the lesser felony charges is unacceptable and blatant disregard for the credible evidence presented. Karma is a bitch, I agree. But I also believe the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. This won't be the last time she has legal trouble, IMO. -

Casey Anthony - Not Guilty of First Degree Murder

Casey is OUT next Wednesday! The judge appeared to throw the book at her, but in reality caved in on the dates for time served - behind closed doors. Information concerning time served is supposed, and expected, to be produced by the defense in court. Then, it is supposed to be a PUBLIC ruling for when she began serving time and how much is taken off for "good behavior". Part of her time in jail was for passing those bad checks back in 2008. So the judge tries to look good because he is an elected official and wants to please the masses, he also helps the police by defusing the situation outside. It'll be interesting to see how much he decides Casey should pay back to the investigators due to lies. She'll have enough money though because I just heard that she and Baez have signed a contract with an entertainment agent as a pair. Match made in ....... -
Not happening, unfortunately! A decision this big would not be so loosely guarded.

Pink Floyd to release unheard tracks
Walter replied to 2bitnogoodjive's topic in Other Bands / Music
Agreed. It was, musically, the most "Floyd" sounding album post '77. The tour was more spontaneous than the '87-'88 tour as well. Are they planning on including bonus material from those sessions, also? -
Nice pictures! Thanks for sharing!!

Well, it's started already. Juror #3 has already stated that she didn't think Casey was innocent, just not guilty! Also, the jurors are requiring a fee before appearing on any talk shows! How about standing up for at least man slaughter or aggravated child abuse?!? Also, Chaney Mason has been photographed flipping off the media during their party yesterday around the corner from the courthouse. He is such an angry ole f*ck! Just think, only 24 hours has passed..... -
Yes, welcome!

Emotion? Only when it involves herself! She has been for almost 3 years already and the max he could give her is 4, so they are saying it will probably be time served. Who knows, nothing would surprise me at this point! -
FINALLY! I'm schedule oriented with sprinkles of spontaneity.

He refuted by saying that reminents of food (velvetta and salami) would also provide the fatty acids that were found in the trunk?!? But had nothing for why the smell was there 2 years after the fact. They still had a can in evidence that still smelled like human decomposition, in the courtroom. But the judge ruled it could not be opened because it might cause bias in the jury - given that 4 jurors said they had smelled human decomposition before. They called it the "can of death". After reading that on-line tabloid link that was provided, I remain convinced that the jury did not understand the scientific evidence presented, made their decision based on personalities involved and wanted to get the hell out of there and get home. They, in no way, looked over the mountain of evidence - visual, audio and scientific - in the 10 hours they deliberated. The fallout from all of this, beginning tomorrow with the sentencing on the 4 misdemeanor charges she was found guilty of, is going to be very interesting. A psycho like Casey will not stay out of the spotlight for long. She will be making the rounds, but public perception will be much different than the 12 jurors. Her personality and mental illness will get her in trouble again, it may a little while (or not) but it will. I hope nobody allows her to make a buck off her daughter's death, but I'm too much of a realist to believe otherwise.
