The funding cutbacks go back to the 80's when Regan started cutting federal funding under the guise of states rights. They are so much deeper now, plus many state governments are trying to push for voucher systems to help with sending more money and children to private or religious schools. What they do in Norway is so polar opposite to what direction the U. S. Educational system is going, the answer might already be there. It really is a societal issue than just one facet or group, at least over here it is - IMO.

Yes, of course Zep would. They had tons of talent and stood the test of time. We will see if other current successful artists can do the same and be judged upon that and not just personal opinions - as crazy as some are.

Where's the hate for the 11th? Most people agree, as do I, that the show on the 4th was better. They sounded really inspired, played well and delivered a really good gig - especially from circumstances they were returning from. The 11th was alright, IMO, but the energy wasn't quite as high and the playing not quite as good. Just my opinion, not trying to sway you in any way. I look forward to August and reviewing those videos in celebration of their 32nd anniversary.
