That last comment is very NYC, isn't it? I was waiting to hear "Bababooey" following it! It'll be interesting to see if the wife hangs around once everything dies down.

^Absolutely! In most circumstances, I would believe he still has a future in politics as Americans generally have very short memories and revisions of the truth are always out there. In his case, no one will ever forget this because of his name alone. Glad he is finally stepping down.
  3. Still raising that LOSER %, isn't he? Plus, learn how to type - seriously!
  4. Exactly Electrophile! I believe the incoherent, jack off, troll you are referring to is now up to 70 out of the 205 posts in this thread alone. What a joke!
  5. None of the "reviews" talk about the "water fight backstage" that Robert refers to before the encores begin. Any info. on that?
  6. Happy birthday Tom Kid!

  7. Big Dan, I actually know a number of white South Africans that have moved here that are in the golf industry/sport. Some support what you are saying that too much is being done to advance those who were at a disadvantage for all those years. Same can be said for people here in the U.S.. Others believe that black South Africans were systematically reduced to basically less than human and that the changes that have come about since the 90's are good for their entire country. Whatever the case, it's not being politically correct to treat people fairly, just being a decent person. That seems to more of a foreign concept anymore.
  8. ^ Just civil conversation embedded in a thread based post. That is allowed here ya know. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the racism against white people in South Africa statement from earlier.
  9. Oh yeah, All In The Family did a lot to add some humor to the obvious racism coming out of the generational gap from the 60's. That and it also exposed some absurd thought processes going on then and still now - when I'm at my in-laws house! Now I'm not off topic!
  10. ^ True! I am probably dating myself, but I still always double space when it's proper. I could also type fast as hell when using a keyboard, but I was taught on one of those manual typewriters - not even electric. Now I have an iPhone and have to type one fingered. That's one reason for my more consistent posts lately. That and a 10 week paid vacation!!!! Anyway, i've had 5 double Captain's shots and will sign off now! . Later guys!
  11. Sugar Mountain - Neil Young
  12. Yeah some could have been left off, but I'm really digging the "Immigrant Song" cover!
  13. Entertainment is a lost art for some incoherent whacked out trolling jerk offs around here. The two did a number of hysterical skits together. He really surprised me with his quick wit humor, I already knew he was a pretty good actor. To add to my earlier post on the RS article, she has pictures of her heroes in her backstage area including: Jimmy Page, Debbie Harry, the Sex Pistols, John Lennon and the Ramones, plus an Andy Warhol triptych of Elvis Presley. She also has a smaller framed picture of Gaga and Elton John and they have become such close friends that she's godmother to his son. "It's quite a job to fill," she says. Thought that was interesting.
  14. This Saturday going to the Hard Rock Live to hear classic albums live: Led Zeppelin IV. Saw PG performed last year and it was great!
  15. I wasn't either until I read some reviews on Amazon before purchasing them. So I made sure I bought the original music. The blame was placed on Sharon for trying to get a bigger piece of the pie for Ozzy. Only Randy was kept and some other bassist and drummer were used for cheap. I'll look into it, there are extra cuts included on them but still don't know if I'll pick up a new copy.
  16. I love them both! Ozzy lost a lot when RR died. Do you know if the original musicians were kept on the reissues? I know they were not on some of earlier released cd versions of those two albums. Has anyone said Plant's "The Principle Of Moments"? That's a good one also! While I'm on the subject in another thread, Lady Gaga's "The Fame Monster" was a good follow-up to the hit debut "The Fame".
  17. Thanks! That was an all around excellent SNL and I don't say that very often anymore. Justin Timberlake was great and I'm not a big fan of his (musically speaking) but can't deny his talent.
  18. I am going with the Canucks also. I hate ALL Boston teams, so it is really by default for me. Plus it's hard to go against a home team in a game 7 situation. Vancouver seems like a great city to visit, would love to make the trek over there sometime.
  19. I CANNOT believe I didn't think about that one already - one of my all-time favorites^!!
  20. I believe this will do it : http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=dDpU-hgYDq8&feature=YouTube_gdata_player
  21. Just saw a report on the news that Gaga was the highest earning celeb under 30 years old at a sum of $90 million. As far as her talented, beautiful voice goes, did anyone catch her version of "The Edge Of Glory" while playing the piano - segueing into "Judas" - from Saturday Night Live a couple of weeks ago? Awesome voice and performance. I will try to find a link.
  22. 6 points penalty for ole Shrub? Today was the NASCAR hall of fame induction announcement. The 2012 inductees are: Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, Dale Inman, Glen Wood and Richie Evans!!! I emphasize Richie because he was my local boyhood driver in upstate NY. We used to watch him race at Utica-Rome speedway and when they would have fan/kid ride along night we would pile into and onto the drivers cars as the would slowly drive around the track. I would always get Richie and even sat straddling his gear shifter one night! I never knew he was a national champ until going to Daytona one year and read about him in the program. I just thought he was our local guy. In 13 years he won 475 races and 9 titles, 8 years in a row. The only guy in NASCAR history to have his number retired - #61. RIP and congrats Richie, you did it!!! Godspeed.
  23. Today my boyhood idol, Richie Evans, was selected for inauguration to the NASCAR Hall Of Fame!!
