Sorry Type O, I omitted my response to this interesting reaction. I don't have a "personal relationship" with the man at all. However, when I resided in NYC, I had a number of friends in the radio industry who knew the man well and some who still run into him from time to time. It may be a huge city, but that industry is relatively close and everyone knows each other if they have been there for awhile. He absolutely is what I said he was. No rolling of the eyes needed. I agreed with you, at first. After the president again are we? Imus is and has been a racist for years and years. Does he still have a radio show? Even if it is the proverbial tree falling in the woods and no one hears it (or listens to it in his case), does it still exist? I think Kanye has done enough things in his past to know what he is all about, already.

I understand what you are saying. However, if he really is no longer interested in rehashing the past, then why play those songs and why the need to change them? He has a huge solo catalog that could have been tapped into. His voice does sound very strong, but I am tired of hearing these songs reworked and reworked, etc. Just my opinion.

Terrific start to the season - Cowboys 34 Bucs 21. Went to the game and boy were there a lot of Cowboy fans in Tampa. We had a great time seeing America's Team in person and what a fantastic stadium Raymond James Stadium is! GO COWBOYS!!!

This IS b.s. The two companies have already merged and are most definitely a monopoly. Tickemaster sends you to Live Nation if the event is at a location that is controlled by Live Nation - like the Ford Ampitheatre in Tampa, FL. When I recently purchased two tickets for an upcoming show, the price was $45, but after all the charges - including $6 parking for each INDIVIDUAL - the ticket price was $70.75! Isn't that legalized scalping? Needless to say, I have downsized the number of shows I will be attending and limiting the venues which I will attend them at. Kudos to Them Crooked Vultures for selling tickets without extra charges being applied. At least they seem to have their fans best interest at heart and not the ticket brokers! Peace. Oh yeah, unless VH has some new, amazing music to play on this tour - they might as well stay home. Been there, done that!
