  1. Hot Dog live really is good to listen to for Jonesy piano playing. South Bound Suarez and Darlene really capture how fun he could play up a song, on the piano, as well. Peace.
  2. Was that the Classic Albums Physical Graffiti show? I caught that show and it was awesome!! Next concert will be U2 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa (10/9/09)!
  3. I was wondering which Japan show was the best Zeppelin show they played there? It could be based on set list, quality of recording or just the best vibe. Which do you think? Peace.
  4. That's suprising, coming from you!!
  5. Well TO certainly won't get a break from either Wolfman or myself - he has worned out his welcome with the teams he has f*cked from the inside of the locker room out! GO COWBOYS!!
  6. IV - due to the experimentation in recording that was going on with that disc. I know that happened with all of their discs, but IV seemed so magical. Very tough question indeed... II would be cool for the aspect of recording while on the road at all those different locations. Again, tough question.
  7. I have been listening to the LA Forum shows from '77, as I usually do when June rolls around. I think that a hugely underappreciated show is the last night of the six. The playing and energy (not to mention the sound quality of the show - thank you again Mike R.I.P.) are right up there with the first night and the vibe within the group is awesome. Another incredible L.A. show!!
  8. Over Now - Alice In Chains
  9. Agreed. Love Ozzy, just not what has become of him. I guess when the t.v. shows don't work out, money has to be made other ways! What a sad, joke of a family.
  10. On vinyl I have (without a turn table to play them on ): The complete BBC recordings (4 records) Japan (don't remember the exact date) '71 Persistence (SF '73) Montreal '75 How Many More Times (LB '75) Part of Earl's Court (5/24/75) The Last Brawl (Oak. '77) Brussels '80 Frankfurt '80 I think that is all, but I am going off memory.
  11. Rock 'N Roll Ain't Noise Pollution - AC/DC
  12. Down In A Hole - Alice In Chains
  13. I agree. When I finally heard Badgeholder's, after much praise given by others, I found myself wondering why people felt it was the best of the LA shows (or best ever in the opinion of some). It is a good show, but the sound and intensity is not what "Eddie" is at all. To each his own.... I am enjoying the banter concerning Moon. I thought his playing in the 60's was pretty unique and interesting. Not being a drummer myself, I would not know where to place him in the hierarchy of technical drummers. I did not enjoy his 70's drumming as much as the earlier days. Never realized he killed someone, but behavior like that is bound to end in tragedy - for someone other than the drunk usually.
  14. In My Life - The Beatles
  15. Drive My Car - The Beatles
  16. I Can't Drive 55 - Sammy Hagar
  17. Thanks for the "heads up" on this - I don't put ANYTHING past the people in the gas business these days!
  18. Without first hand experience, I find 6-21-77 to be the best concert, many thanks to Millard (RIP) for giving us this everlasting gift!! ROCK ON ZeppFanForever! Peace.
  19. From what I have heard from the kid, I think it would be a good fit. Better than P. Rodgers was (no disrespect to him at all). The kid's vocal range and flamboyant personality seems perfect. As far as the name goes, they were with Freddy throughout his last years, recording etc., so I would think they had that discussion with him. Freddy will never be forgotten that's for sure.
