Happy Almost-Birthday Her birthday was actually in June, but with swim team and all we waited to do her friend party after school started again (we did celebrate with family in June). My oldest daughter's birthday is on Saturday though; she is a Virgo too
I know; it's the shrieking, I think, lol! Now that everyone has gone, all 3 kids have been playing with balloons for the last hour. Never mind the gifts!
Just got back from a soccer game, they lost, but we had fun It was nasty hot though! We're getting ready to go prepare for youngest daughter's b'day party tomorrow!
I took my 2 youngest kids to the local HS football game tonight. It was fun; our team lost badly but the kids had a good time. It's very rural; everyone knows everyone else My oldest daughter in HS was there too but went with friends.
She does some of everything (ballet, tap, modern/lyrical, jazz and hip hop). Jazz and hip-hop are her favorites though. I think it's wonderful that you are taking the class; enjoy!
That sounds like such fun! I wish my daughters' dance school had classes for the moms; we aren't at the girls' level, but it would be fun to have an over 30 hip hop class
I like her too! You may also like Kathy Reichs and Linda Fairstein, if you haven't already checked them out. Reichs' books are what the tv show "Bones" is based on (a female medical examiner and her cases); and Linda Fairstein's series is about a NYC prosecutor who handles special victims unit cases (Fairstein worked as one herself before she began writing).
Have you read the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich? There are 14 books so far. Meets all your criteria!

My son had been home sick Wed and Thurs with this sore throat/cold thing that's going around, and he was feeling much better today; went to school and played in a soccer game tonight And apparently has outgrown his cleats since last week How can that be?!
I just did a 4 mile power walk, for a total of 10.75 miles since Friday evening. Our schedule has been very hectic the past few weeks and I hadn't consistently made the time to get my cardio in. If I don't, I definitely feel the difference.
There's another wonderful dance that we saw again (same girl; different guy); here's a clip of it from last night's show (no comment on the Archuleta version of Imagine... ):

I can tell you who won if you like; I don't want to be a spoiler, but again I doubt many people here watch...
