Excellent episode of Grey's Anatomy tonight, all around. Christina's speech to the panel and the storyline about the young man with the tumor had me in tears; the whole episode was fabulous

Yesterday we were out running errands all day and well into the evening. I heard Zeppelin/Firm songs 3 times while we were out; normally even catching one is a rarity. "Radioactive" at Kmart (lol), "Dancing Days" at the gym and "In the Evening" at the sporting goods shop.

That was great! I also loved when Derek got into the elevator with all 3 of them (awkward...)

Rome...sigh...I am jealous! It's 8:45 am Saturday morning here in VA. The pollen count is high; the azaleas are in full swing...

I didn't see it, but what about that Jennifer Garner movie from a few years ago? I'm blanking on the name though.

Today was one of those days when the late afternoon sun reflects spectacularly on the green fields and everything looks golden. I was driving out in the country (listening to HTWWW, smiling at the cows), feeling thankful I live in such a beautiful place, and generally counting my blessings.

My daughter's Spanish teacher (high school) left a voicemail message saying how much she enjoys having my daughter in her class; how respectful, pleasant and hard working she is, and how she hopes we'll continue encouraging her. What a nice thing to do!

I remember I found a $20 bill on the steps of my dining hall in college; that was a lot of money back then, lol. I treated my suitemates to pizza That's the largest amount I've ever found.

It was a great day actually; I returned to the gym for the first time in a couple of weeks. Then my son scored his first goal of the season in soccer We all went shopping and I got a really cute skirt that my daughter spotted. Then we went to Applebees and my picky eater oldest daughter was adventuresome and cleaned her plate And now I'm sipping a glass of my favorite Virginia white, and watching "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"; one of my favorite movies Life is good!

The kids and I went ice skating with friends last night and had a blast!
