  1. Here’s another source of 2020 musicians who’ve passed. R.I.P. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2020s_deaths_in_rock_and_roll R😎
  2. He doesn’t want a “warts and all” bio released and doesn’t need the money. R😎
  3. Whoosh! out today. I ordered the cd/dvd combo & should have it next Tues. Until then, I’ve been watching the rehearsal video and listening to several threads. Here’s one with snippets of the album tracks. https://www.rockcellarmagazine.com/deep-purple-whoosh-new-album-listen-stream-download/ R😎
  4. What would be a perfect thing now for JP to do would be to release an official companion (audio) release to his Anthology book. It could be in all the various formats (CD, Vinyl, Digital) with his sigil on it and a nice booklet with his recollections of favorites over the years (early skiffle playing, studio work, uncredited surprises, Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin highlights / alternate mixes, ARMS, soundtrack highlights, The Firm highlights, collaborations w/ Coverdale Page, Page & Plant, Roy Harper, The Black Crowes, solo stuff (Julie Felix show, Outrider highlights, NetAid, It Might Get Loud, etc). It would sum up his career nicely. Robert Plant has an anthology cd due this fall, so why not JP??? R😎

  7. R.I.P. Steve Holland (Molly Hatchet guitarist). https://www.legacy.com/news/celebrity-deaths/steve-holland-2020-molly-hatchet-guitarist/ R😎
  8. I guess they chose the 60s, since that’s when he started in the studio, joining the yardbirds and forming Led Zeppelin, right? R😎
  9. Ok. Geezer Butler said it differently a few years back in an interview. He appeared to not like them upstaging Sabbath. VH were limited space on stage like most openers with no lighting or effects, but did get an encore after they played 30 minute sets. Ozzy’s drug problems set things off and he even went AWOL in Nashville (where they cancelled show). Then, Ozzy was fired from the band after the tour. Tony Iommi appeared to get along with VH, though. R😎
  10. They were liked so well that they were kicked off the Sabbath tour for “outperforming them”. R😎
  11. R.I.P. Jim Dennee (former guitarist for Dr. Hook) (65). Friend and played on several of my albums. You will be missed. R😎
  12. Thanks Sam. Hopefully, there’s a limited edition 3 disc version with remastered videos: (like recent YouTube ones). R😎
  13. Sad to hear of his passing. He was always positive about helping people, too. He will be missed. R😎
