  1. Wow. Didn’t realize he was battling colon cancer the past 4 years. https://apnews.com/5f4352111fdead278da3651b44d311b8 R😎
  2. R.I.P. Joe Ruby (co-creator of Scooby-Doo, Jabberjaw, etc) https://www.metv.com/stories/rip-joe-ruby-co-creator-of-scooby-doo R😎
  3. ... the long and winding road ... R😎
  4. I hope they collaborate again. Maybe they’ll do a cover of “Smoke on the water”, but this time Shatner can do a reinterpretation of it as “Smoke out the Klingons” or something. 😁 ... “We went to Earth’s planet surface ... for a Lake Geneva shore leave”... R😎
  5. + 1 Exactly. Some people are just jealous they can’t sing like that (at any age). Lol We’re just speaking hypothetically here, as JP is in his 70s, hasn’t been seen on stage performing any since 2015 (Seattle playing a little to R&R w/ a bunch of other musicians accepting an award). He hasn’t performed more than a couple of songs together since his on stage appearance (Playing rhythm guitar) w/ Jeff Beck and his band at the RNRHOF ceremony (2009) 11 years ago and he hasn’t performed an entire concert on stage to a crowd in 13 years (O2 Celebration Day) with RP, JPJ & Jason, so given history, most likely he’s done performing live. Why would he want to have any possibility of tarnishing his reputation of being anything less than what he accomplished at the O2 (going out on top) ???? R😎
  6. R.I.P. to another Austin, Texas legend, Riley Osbourne (longtime keyboardist for Kenny Wayne Shepherd and w/ Antone’s house band 20+ years). R😎 photo credit: KT Yarbrough
  7. Lol. 😆. Well, Myles (along with two other Americans) were the only ones considered in 2008. R😎🇺🇸
  8. R.I.P. original RHCP guitarist Jack Sherman (64). https://www.rockcellarmagazine.com/jack-sherman-rip-red-hot-chili-peppers-message-instagram/ R😎
  9. You’re welcome. Earlier in his career before Alter Bridge (90s), he was the lead singer of the band, Mayfield Four (out of the Pacific Northwest). R😎
  10. Myles Kennedy is the lead singer & also an excellent guitarist of Alterbridge (Jason recommended him). He also is a singer / songwriter who released the excellent solo album 2 years ago called, Year of The Tiger (about his dad’s passing). I saw him on that solo tour in Atlanta at the City Winery. He is an Amazing live performer. He was first known for his cameo as “Thor” in the early 2000s Rock Star movie (singing, “Stand Up & Shout” from the crowd and then discovered by Mark Walberg). R😎
  11. Hughes is an excellent bass player and singer. If JP, JPJ and Jason got Hughes back in 2008 during rehearsals, it could have worked as he is continually writing and would have helped JPJ with versatility in arrangements & playing other instruments while possibly giving Page his muse in a new collective. It’s water under the bridge now. If only... R😎
  12. They tried something in 2008 (The three of them auditioned/jammed with: Sammy Hagar, Steven Tyler and Myles Kennedy at different times). It didn’t work and project was scrapped. R😎
  13. https://www.amazon.com/Digging-Deep-Subterranea-Robert-Plant/dp/B08D6WDFY7/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=digging+deep+cd&qid=1598239652&sr=8-1 According to Amazon.com description, there’s a Band of Joy 2 album to follow (Probably next year) with one track “Charlie Patton Highway“ (Turn It Up Part 1.) as a sneak peak on this compilation. R😎
  14. If this (ITTOD) is Led Zeppelin at their worst, then It’s still better than 90+% of other groups at their best. This one just has JPJ & RP at the helm when JP & JB were not at their best due to personal issues at the time. R😎
  15. Yes. He made everything sound great and according to those who knew him; he was the consummate professional. R😎
