  1. Yes. He made everything sound great and according to those who knew him; he was the consummate professional. R😎
  2. R.I.P. Chet Himes (audio engineer, mixing & musician. He was best known for his work mixing practically everything for Austin City Limits & multiple artists / bands: Christopher Cross, Carole King, Eric Johnson, etc) https://www.allmusic.com/artist/chet-himes-mn0000108662/credits R😎
  3. Yep. R.I.P. Frankie. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ πŸ₯ RπŸ˜ŽπŸ™
  4. Yes, indeed. It’s sad. We’ll see even more as our favorites are all getting older. R😎
  5. R.I.P. Frankie Banali (Quiet Riot drummer). He passed away last night in California after battling cancer for the last 18 months. R😎

  11. Oh, definitely. They’ll get β€œgood” feedback for sure. R😎
  12. Yay. Glad to hear. Crazy times, indeed. Hopefully, the package I ordered 3 months ago (as of this Thursday) will finally arrive soon, too. R😎
  13. It’s about the money. He has delusions of grandeur. What they are claiming are line cliches, as previously proven, which is ultimately why they keep losing, as they keep trying different approaches (losing credibility w/ the judges in each court). R😎
  14. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Way Yep. He played w/ Fastway, Ozzy and a few others, too. R.I.P. Pete Way. R😎
  15. Awesome πŸ˜ŽπŸŽΈπŸ‘ You’ll enjoy it !!! R😎
  16. These days you never know what or when you’ll get something in the mail (Delivered). R😎
  17. Sorry to hear. I tell you it might be quicker for mail to arrive by horse (pony express) or by foot these days. R😎
  18. Infinite and Now What? both have some very cool standout tracks, but this one as a whole (at least In the first few sit down listening sessions) sounds more solid. I think the maturity of the songwriting (chords, melodic structures, interplay among musicians with this lineup & lyrics) as well as the cohesion of the group strengthens with each release. I believe Bob Ezrin gave them more room to let the songs breathe naturally Whereas the first two outings, he was having to help them reign in their ideas more as project manager / producer. I think the group trusts their own instincts individually and collectively to know & serve in their role as band members of DP. No one is trying to showboat or outshine any other here. Those days are long gone. R😎
  19. I’m sure that’s part of it along with some poor customer service on part of the company overseas not honoring the first come first Served rule. R😎
  20. I ordered a guitar pedal from Reverb (through a company in Russia back in May). It’s still not here yet. It only showed up two days ago at JFK Airport (NY) then was shipped over to Chicago (further away from Atlanta), so now we wait some more. I was hoping to use that effects pedal 3+ months ago to record a new album of atmospheric sounds while I had some down time. Oh, and others bought the same pedal since and have already received theirs. Ugh 😩😞😑 R😎
  21. Finally got the new Deep Purple Whoosh! cd/dvd combo today!!! wow!!! This one is even better than the last few w/ Ezrin producing. Love the interview w/ Glover and Ezrin and the complete concert from 2017 on the dvd. RπŸ˜ŽπŸŽΈπŸ‘
