Watched the documentary on Netflix, what a classy bunch of guys. I love how honest Beard was when they asked him what he did with his first $72,000 check. "I spent it on drugs. Every bit of it." Most band's would boot a musician like that out, but they took a two year break so he could clean up.

And how in the world did Gibbons get that massive guitar tone in the 70s? I thought Eddie brought that to the world but I was wrong.

    Watched it yesterday, too!

I enjoyed seeing footage and interviews.

some funny moments and great new live performances from “that little ole band from texas”

  2. Wow 😳

Two members (drummer Steve Smith and bassist Ross vallory) from Journey have been terminated from the group this week (Tuesday) due. to attempting to take the band name / coup. The three remaining members are seeking replacements touring musicians for this summer as they hit the road w The Pretenders. People are wondering if Deen Castronova (former drummer) will return.

As much as I believe Gorman, and if you read his book he really isn't grinding an axe, just telling things like they were, I don't understand if it were true why Jimmy would get up onstage with The Black Crowes in 2011 if he was so insulted? I wish Steve would have addressed that.

... and JP played onstage (last) in 2015 (Seattle Awards) w/ Rich Robinson and others. I don’t think JP is angry about things like Steve Gorman (considering what he put up with being in the Crowes).

If I win tickets from radio, I’ll go. Otherwise, I’ll sit this one out, too.

I’ve seen the Stones multiple times over the years, too (w/ Prince, Living Colour, etc)

Primus have announced a special North American tour that will see them cover Rush’s 1977 album A Farewell to Kings from front to back. Officially titled “A Tribute to Kings”, each night of the trek will feature a full performance of the album in addition to a proper Primus set.

I just got my HWWW super deluxe boxset a few days ago. It's a noticeable improvement over the original. Such clear and crisp sound. It's great to have this release on vinyl and in HD digital format.

Agreed. I got the blu ray audio. I  think it is a better mix and you can hear everything better. I hope Led Zeppelin release more live titles even if it takes JP a few years in between.
