  1. Aw, ILJP, I love the Robert of that era.
  2. As do I.... Thanks for posting that photo! Very sweet too. Aw, ILJP, I just love those old photos of Jimmy and Robert together. They bring back so many sweet memories - I'm sure that they do for you too.
  3. Both Robert and Maureen look beautiful:
  4. I didn't know who she was so I googled her - she has an amazing life story: My body the battleground: Sam Taylor-Wood bares all after cancer and two births http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-...cer-births.html http://www.rosshalfin.co.uk/ledzeppelin/le...-colour618.html God help me, after all these years, the guy (not Jonesy) still makes my skin crawl.
  5. Jerry Hall and Jo Wood are still gorgeous. I remember, 30 years ago when they were beautiful young models and they each ended up marrying one of the Stones. They are still beautiful and glamorous. I don't know who the woman in the middle is but, IMO, Jerry, Jimmy, and Jo are the epitome of the beautiful people of the world of rock.
  6. Another beautiful photo by the great Neal Preston. He captured the essence of the Zep guys during their glory days:
  7. Thanks so much, ILJP! Well, you know what I looked like then too so you might be able to spot me if I appear in any of the crowd shots. When it comes to remembering what I wore at different Zep events, my mind is pretty addled. I do remember that dress because I met my husband about two years after the TSRTS premiere and I still had that dress and I sometimes wore it when we went out together - my husband liked the way it looked on me. I was trying to remember who I've met on this board who was at Zep-related events at the same time and place as me and I came up with you, Alwizard, BUK and Hotplant.
  8. Dear God ILJP! What are we going to fetishize next? His body hair?
  9. Awwww, ILJP, it must be so sweet for you to see your friend in that photo. Knebby, do you have any more pics of the audience from that night? I was there too. You know what I looked like in the 70's. That night, I was wearing a cream colored dress with gold pindots. My friend, who is tall and blond, was in a turquoise dress. I don't know why all these years later I remember those outfits - it might be that we went to Bloomingdales to purchase them and we thought we were "hot stuff". Well it wouldn't be the first time one of us ended up on the floor, walked into a wall, or tripped over our feet (or Pagey's ) after the man entered a room.
  10. Receiving a package of treasures and a letter from one special friend. Talking about our Zep days with another special friend.
  11. I read and emailed this article to my husband this morning along with a message that he would fit right in with the people described there and told him not to get any more ideas from the article. We live in a clean, modern home but his office really does resemble the rooms described in the article. Very much so. My husband also takes a perverse sort of pleasure in dressing like a ranch hand and rattling around in his dusty, mud-caked pickup.
  12. The dog collar fetishists thank you.
  13. Oh, yessss, the "incriminating pics" whose images are permanently seared into our memories.
  14. Working on our water garden/fish pond with my husband and realizing how healthy the fish and plants are and how large they've grown over the summer.
  15. It's a beautiful thing to see, isn't it? My daughter recently emailed photos of a beautiful wedding that she just attended. With all of the problems in the world and all of the things that people bitch and moan about, young people still fall in love and make a commitment to one another.
  16. Calls out window: "That looks wonderful sweetie, keep cutting." Dashes back to computer and continues typing: "....scarves, penance, dog collars, pants... " That's one of the reasons why we love her.
  17. I do a huge amount of work on the land with him but my husband won't let me near the chainsaw. I really want to try it but he is afraid of me losing control of it and also of "kickback" happening. Believe me, I would much rather garden than clear sagebrush and cedar.
  18. Usually I am out there with him (I have the window open in case there is a mishap) but I told him that I want to be online for any Zep-related news. Very nice camera, btw!
  19. My sweet husband who is out clearing brush on our land with a chainsaw while I am inside answering emails and reading posts on the LZ forum.
