I just love Jimmy in these classic poses of his - oh MSG, I just wish he would tour again!!! I (and many other people-you included I'm sure) would go see him in a heartbeat!!
Me too! When I look at some of these pics, they bring back so many great memories. The people who weren't there and say things like, "Stop living in the past", etc. have no idea what it was like to have been there and to have experienced it. As a wise woman, who was there, once said, "The alumni know"
Aw, I know what you mean, ILJP - I would love to see Jimmy play just once more in this world, in this lifetime.

Thanks MSG you're so serene
You're welcome, Dzldoc.

He looks naughty and mischievous.

Doctor called today, chest x-rays and CEA levels normal
That is fantastic news, Dzldoc. My continued prayers and best wishes to you.

Me either! I was gambling that I might get a white copy, oh well it's a very nicely put together set. Each album with it's own jacket and the symbals of each member on front with pics and song titles on the back. When I have time maybe I can post some close ups, oh and comes with a 24pg photo book.
That sounds fantastic! I can't wait for mine to arrive. I honestly don't care what color I get, I'm just happy to have it. I still have my original TSRTS and I am anxious to compare the packaging. book, and sound for the two.

Ahhhh, that seems to fit you well MAD! Very nice
Aw, thanks. I try to live a life of peace and serenity so it meant a lot to me to hear that.

I love this picture with Ahmet and Peter - Jimmy looks so cute there!!
I love that photo too. I always liked to watch and was fascinated by the interactions between the Zep guys and Ahmet and Peter.

This picture it looks like the same outfit but I don't think it was the same time period. I'm sure I got this from someplace on the forum.
It does look like the same (beautiful) jacket. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it was from a different time period as Jimmy sometimes wore some of the same articles of clothing for several years.

Does anyone know where and when this concert was and what and who is on the stage?

And I think those pics are from the same photosession- sorry for the watermarks
I just love those eyes, lips, hair...everything!
Spacewoman, thanks for that series! I only have one of those photos and it doesn't have the watermark - I have a larger one than this but it is a scan and it's rather blurry:

Thanks again for this, MSG.
I know that maybe I might be one of the fewer fans of Jimmy '77.
He wasn't in great shape neither physically nor musically and so on, but there is something about him that shows his vulnerability more than ever. He looked so frail and weak that you just can't help it but feel for him.
Acknowledging what was behind the big change he's been through from the '73-'75 to the '77 Jimmy can only add some sort of melancholy and sadness.
You're welcome again, AMAZONIC.
Jimmy certainly did show a side that many of us had never seen in him before - the side that we all have of being vulnerable. I didn't see Zep in '77 but I remember being shocked when I saw the photos of Jimmy - so very thin, his teeth all messed up, and his eyes hidden behind dark glasses. Up until then, he seemed almost infallible to me. It was really startling to me and I did feel for him. :'( Thank God he made it through those years and is looking fantastic today!

Oh I second that!!
I love this one! I have it too but the colors on mine are different. That's one of several photos that, whenever I look at them, they make me remember the heyday of Zep (and I realize how much I miss it, sometimes ).

For the Zep '77 alumni:

Thanks for these, MSG.
I just love the way Jimmy looks when he's totally absorbed in his playing. Priceless!
Could watch this kind of pictures all day nonstop.
You're welcome, AMAZONIC!

Meg, thanks so much for the information on that photo. From the looks of Robert and Jimmy, I thought it might be '69 but beyond that, I had no idea. I like that the audience threw flowers at them.
