Strider Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Pretty self-explanatory...it's a P.O.V. clip of the Zeppelin roller-coaster ride at the Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach, S.C. so you can pretend you are riding it yourself. Apologies if this has been posted already but after looking through I didn't see it here, so I'm posting it now: Sad news, the park went bankrupt and had to close, but I hear there is a new buyer and the park will reopen this year...hopefully they will keep the Zeppelin ride. Looks pretty cool and a lot of fun. Video is shaky, but nothing can be done about that. The ride seems similar to The Hulk Coaster at Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure. ms_zeppelin94 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I sooo wanted to ride that! Damn economy! Quote
timothy5151 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 The ride looks like fun. I hope the new buyer re-opens the ride. Quote
SuperDave Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I would think they'd keep this one. It's pretty unique and from what I've heard it was the most popular attraction there. So chances would look good. Quote
trahcwolf Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I sooo wanted to ride that! Damn economy! The ride was awesome. The whole experience and surroundings built for it pumped you up - there were even tv screens showing concert footage. The ride was timed almost to perfection with the music. Until I rode this, I was deathly afraid of coasters, but I had to do it for Zep. Now the fear of coasters is gone. It was bloody awesome! The ride is still at the new "Freestyle Music Park", but sadly has been renamed. What bankrupted the park was being too high priced for a poorly managed, cramped park that had advertised many things that did not exist, incompetent employees and crammed with carnival barkers selling timeshares. (They charged $50 for my 6 yr old to enter, and there was almost nothing for her to do) The new park remains high priced. Quote
