This morning after showering and getting ready to set off from Newcastle upon Tyne (yes I went home last night to work this morning!!) - the foil strip on the wristband is getting damaged by scratching. Anyone else seen this on theirs? Mr Goldsmith - have you got a problem on your hands here - as I doubt I will be the only one in 20,000 people experiencing this problem. Is this going to be an issue? Professor Frink Posted December 10, 2007 Share Posted December 10, 2007 Doubt it, as long as you have your ticket, and something that still vaguely resembles a wrist band you will be fine. The barcodes on the tickets are the important thing; each is unique and can only be scanned once - so if that is kosher, they're unlikely to ask too many other questions. carrots1969 Posted December 10, 2007 Share Posted December 10, 2007 I cut the top off a old sock and made myself a "protective sweatband" for my wrist! Incase it irritated me in the night and in my sleep i managed to tear it off! when i get in the shower later i`l have to swap in for a plastic bag!!!
