sodcancer
The nicest men in rock, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, have very kindly donated and signed a beautiful 6-string Takamine acoustic/electric guitar to our eBay auction. We're raising money for The Institute of Cancer Research in memory of our friend who died last year. We're knocked sideways by their generosity. So here is YOUR chance to own, play and love this wonderful guitar, complete with plectrum scrape-marks under the sound hole where it has clearly been played. Please go to eBay and have a look today! Auction must end May 1st. http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item1e62ed4c8f Thank you! Team Sod Cancer
sbaur9
That's a very nice picture of them holding the guitar! When was it taken?

FireOpal
This is a beautiful thing they're doing. Only mainland UK bidders though. It makes sense I guess, what with the shipping costs and insurance.
TheStairwayRemainsTheSame
Is this recent?! Were they all together RECENTLY?! That aside it is a beautiful cause and I'm proud to be a fan when I hear of things like this I hope it falls into the right hands and not into a businessman whose only out for the profit.. velhinho
Nice gesture on their part. Very nice, indeed. It´s a pity they won´t play again in this life.
SuperDave
Very nice, indeed. It´s a pity they won´t play again in this life. More than likely it won't happen, but I suppose anything is possible like The O2.
