paul carruthers
Hmmm, the rain could mean the game won't be as high scoring as I originally thought. Either that or both teams will end up scoring in the 50s...
Walter
I just can't tell which Indy will show up! I mean their running game as been horrific! Luck may be their best option to run the ball. But, New England's run defense has been bad too! I don't like picking against the Pats, but I like the Colts defense better. It'll be interesting to see if Adam Vinatieri will be a game decider - again....

Anjin-san
And Seattle,...
LedZeppfan77
In New England... Well that does make the over and under a bit shaky. I thought a shootout was in order and it still could be. Better than sub zero temps to endure. Indy stays at +7 all week. Seattle is now -9 1/2. The Chargers dropped to plus 8 1/2 from 10. Carolina is plus 1. Getting more respect than earlier in the week. Something strange is likely to happen. I do not see Seattle or Denver losing the game our right. The spread is another story. I could not resist betting Indy over 21 1/2. That is the O/U on them. And I took them with Seattle minus 7.
paul carruthers
I almost forgot Colts/Pats was the late game today, Saints/Seahawks up first, I expect a better game than the Monday Night contest last month...
Walter
The weather in Seattle looks brutal! Brees is gonna have his work cut out for him and Pierre Thomas is out for the Saints. Raining in NE as well - and it looks dark up there already! It's staying light until 6-6:30 down here right now.
paul carruthers
^^ Any rain coming your way Walter? The sun is out where I am, but the radar says showers in the very near future...
Walter
No rain down here, sunny, windy, and humid though! FOX just showed Seattle and now the sun is out?!? It was raining like crazy when they were warming up and stretching earlier.
paul carruthers
Looks like the wind is really whipping in Seattle. Here's hoping the divisional round of the playoffs can be as compelling as the Wild Card Round...

Strider
Hello darlin'! So where are you watching the game? In the sanctuary of your home or at a pub with a bunch of your fellow Who Dats? Feeling nervous?

pottedplant
I am watching the game at home. I am nervous as a tick on a bull.
paul carruthers
Lynch just had his way with the Saints defense on that run. I don't want to call the game over in the 2nd quarter, but the Dats have some tough uphill sledding being down this deep, this early.... Walter
Walter Jr. is going crazy, his 'hawks are up 13-0....sorry pp.
Strider
^^^ How old is junior? I'm with my Seahawks loving friend and his boy and they're going nuts too!
Walter
10, he's been a fan for 3-4 years now. I just told him that the best part of me having a stinky team is that I don't to get as emotional and can just enjoy the game for what it is. Nothing like winning in the playoffs though - I think, remember Sean?
pottedplant
I'm not cut out for this. My stomach is tied in knots, I've broken out in a rash and I'm five minutes away from setting my TV on fire, Seriously.
paul carruthers
^^ Well, at least you have a team that made it to the 2nd round of the postseason. Us Dolphins fans don't even know what "playoffs" means... Edited January 11, 2014 by paul carruthers
paul carruthers
Looks like Seattle is about to score again & again I bring this up: is there any point in playing the rest of the NFC playoffs? I mean seriously, who can go into that asylum & win?
pottedplant
Thanks Paul. The game is over. I am just heartbroken for the Saints. They are trying so hard. It just makes me sick.
paul carruthers
Well, the Saints did hold em to 3 points. A small victory, but I think the Saints will take anything they can get at this point...
