Much has been said and discussed about the four runes on Led Zep IV.

Forgive my ignorance (maybe this has been done to death) but is there any knowledge about the symbolism on the 4CD box set released in the early '90s?

What about the crop circles?

1st one is Jimmy?

2 is JPJ

3rd would be Plant

4th would be Bonham

What about the 5th smaller one? Jason Bonham (who had already played with them by then)

And there's a smaller 6th one...

Am I reaching? I think so...

The crop symbols on the cover of the 4SET-BOX are not the four led zeppelin symbols! are-they?

inside the box each cd has a led zeppelin symbol

1/ Plant

2/ Page

3/ Bonham

4/ Jones

On the box we can see 3 numbers at each corner

What is the meaning of theese numbers?

You forgot the infinity symbol, which also appears in one of the four corners.

They're not the the runes of Led Zep IV. However, there's no mistaking that there are 4 major symbols and two smaller.

Here's my take on it:

54: 1954, the year Elvis Presley became known (Jimmy's always been vocal about Presley being the main inspiration for him taking up the guitar)

69: 1969, 1st LZ album

79: 1979. last LZ album

infinity: well... maybe the band's hopes that Led Zeppelin will be remembered to infinity?

54 is 54 Songs in the collection?

Yes that's true! but I couldn't find it on my keyboard :(

When computers first came out they did used to include the infinity symbol on keyboards, but too many weird things happened so IBM had to go round and replace them all with a ¬ symbol instead, which no one knows the meaning of to this day (but it seems reasonably safe to press).
