With fairly recent releases (EV) I'd like peoples top10 boots. I'd be interested in responses which weigh your selections 3-1. 75% - quality of the boot - must be good to great SB or really good audience to qualify. 25% - the quality of the performance. I'm not entirely sure what mine are, I'm still discovering them. They would probably include LTTE Snowblind and/or Four blocks in the snow Dancing Avocado Danke! Vienna (73/03/16) Seattle matrix - '75 - recently released. Anything Earl's Court because there is NOT enough video of them and a lot of tracks are on Youtube with variations of songs from different nights (and I think some that are mash ups?) which is always great. Crimson Avenger Posted February 27, 2018 Share Posted February 27, 2018 My current listening top ten would be, in chronological order: 1969.04.27 San Francisco SBD (Dancing Avocado or Collage) 1970.09.04 LA Forum AUD (Blueberry Hill) 1971.09.14 Berkeley AUD 1972.06.25 LA Forum AUD (there are various versions of this, but A Night At The Heartbreak Hotel is the best sounding IMO) 1973.01.15 Stoke SBD (Voodoo In The Gardens winston remaster is the one to have) 1975.03.12 Long Beach AUD (3 source mix only, which gives most of the show in 'Millard' quality, even if the man himself only taped the last part.) 1975.03.21 Seattle SBD/Matrix (while the SBD release probably reduced the reputation of this one a little, it's still the best single date example for 75) 1977.06.21 LA Forum (I Like GM's Watch And Listen To This Eddie) 1979.07.24 Copenhagen AUD (Pseudonym remaster is my fave of this) 1980.06.30 Hamburg SBD (Liriodendron remaster is far better than the raw board) Most of those are pretty obvious, although Stoke 73 and Hamburg 80 probably get overlooked a bit.
