wax?! Doesn't that stuff murder your hair? I've actually put beeswax in my hair once, what I liked about it was that even after I took a shower it stayed in my hair, so that if it sees water, it just doesn't damp down. If I'm going to need product in my hair, I don't want it to run away by the sight of water.

But you're not using a whole heap of wax, you're just using a little bit to rub into the tips. You don't want to rub it through all through your hair, otherwise it'll clump together.

Your hair is dead anyway so you can't murder it, but you can weaken it, mostly through severe colouring. Go for natural products or a daily leave-in protein conditioner.

Wax will stay in your hair even if it gets wet. In fact it's often difficult to wash it off your hands when you've put it on. But remember: wax must be warmed up before you put it in, that means you put a dab of it on your palm, then you rub your hands together quickly for about 5 seconds, and that'll warm up the wax.
