DragonOfDarkness
Zep pretty much influenced every hard rock band that came about during the 70s, 80s and 90s. They still continue to influence people today.

mustochilli
The two that stand out are Heart and Aerosmith. Eagles and Kiss used the "don't get screwed by the record company" thing.
NickZepp
Pretty much all of them. Chuck D in rap also has Zeppelin as a big influence.
Evster2012
The better question would be: Who wasn't in some way influenced by Zeppelin? The cross-pollenization of music in the 70s was so thorough that even if you weren't influenced by Zeppelin directly, you were inevitably influenced by some one who, even if you didn't realize it, was! Even Paul Simonon of the Clash was inspired: "I don't even have to hear the music, just looking at one of their album covers makes me want to throw up". Eric Marsh
Yea, a lot of the so called "metal" bands claimed to be influenced by Zep, but from what I can tell most of those guys didn't even start to get what the band was about. These guys were into exploring music, not trying to to sound scary and bite the heads off of little animals. What attracted me to the band, and pretty well spoiled me for most bands after Zep was their diversity. After Zep was over I realized that most commercial radio was just lame so I started exploring other kinds of music including big band, classical, opera and a zillion other forms.
